Lexia
Lexia is a researched based reading intervention program that provides differentiated literacy instruction for students. The program offers explicit, systematic and tailored instruction in the six areas of reading which include: phonological awareness, phonics, structural analysis, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Attainment
Attainment offers web based programs for students who receive Life Skills Support and Multiple Disability Support. Their programs focus on a variety of research based products for students who are the most significantly cognitively delayed. These programs offer traditional and systematic instruction that is aligned to the PA common core and alternate eligible content. In addition, all of the programs are differentiated to meet the varying needs of our students. Teachers and students will have access to the following curricula: Early Literacy Skills Builder, Early Literacy Skills Builder for Older Students, Early Reading Skills Builder, Access Language Arts, and Access Language Arts: WRITE.
STAR Online Learning System (SOLS)
STAR Online Learning System (SOLS) is a brand new system developed by STAR Autism Support specifically to support students who encounter breaks in service and/or challenges accessing traditional classroom instruction. It is designed to allow educators to provide access to preschool, elementary, and secondary students through remote learning opportunities and has been successfully used by teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service staff across the world. SOLS includes three strands to address the learning needs of students with significant disabilities, including children who have: minimal language or are non-verbal, motor skill limitations, and challenges attending to instruction.
McGraw Hill/SRA
McGraw Hill/SRA digital on-line programs focus on reading, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. The programs include Reading Mastery: student e-books, interactive worksheets, and practice and review digital activities. Corrective Reading program includes: comprehension activities, writing frames, and e-inquiry digital activities.
