Found Object Color Wheel

  • Instructions: Students will create a color wheel with found objects in their house. Students will use the color wheel example that was uploaded as a guide as to where each color will go in their wheel. Students will then show their work by taking a picture and uploading it to google classroom.

Colorful Chameleons

  • Instructions: In this lesson, students will be able to use the elements and principles of art such as line, shape, and color in order to learn about chameleons, look at how illustrators and authors write about chameleons, and how to draw your very own chameleon!

  • Instructions: Please watch and follow along with the video creating an image supporting the idea of staying home while the world is dealing with Covid 19.

Color Block Value

  • Instructions: Value is the lightness and darkness in an image. Students will draw their own objects showing value.

The Dot

  • Instructions: “The Dot” is a story about a young girl who thought she was not very talented but through the encouragement of her art teacher found her style and was even able to encourage another student who was the same as she was when she started. In this lesson, students will watch a video of “The Dot” story and create art using only dots.

  • Instructions: In this project, we are going to learn about warm and cool colors as well as create different designs and patterns.
