MISSION STATEMENT:
The ability to communicate with others is essential in every facet of life, and never more so than in today’s global society. The ability to understand other cultures and speaka foreign language is a tremendous asset in the modern world. Foreign language learning improves human relationships by helping people to know, understand, and valueeach other’s language and culture. Foreign language study helps students to learn how to reason, to cultivate disciplined study practices, and to integrate languageexperiences. Students are able to recognize the uniqueness of people as well as their interdependence in a multilingual, multicultural world.
