Music Flow Chart

Mission Statement:

It is the music department’s mission to provide NHS students with the highest quality musical experiences possible. We believe that students learn about themselves and about life through involvement in music. Music ensembles are small communities where everyone is important and has something to contribute. Through performance,students experience collaboration in the highest sense of the word.

Neenah High School offers students the opportunity to participate in

three main performing music areas:

Band 40210/40211

Choir 40310/40311

Orchestra 40410/40411

In addition, the music department offers study in instrumental jazz and music theory as well as an elective for non-performers.

While most students will elect to participate in only one of the main performing music areas, some may elect to participate in more than one.

Students electing to participate in more than one performing music area should select one course and complete the appropriate dual registration request form available from any member of the NHS music staff.

Placements in ensembles meeting concurrently will be granted only by the consent of both instructors.
