Prerequisite: Creative Drama and Advanced Theatre Studies I
Content: This course will run in conjunction with Advanced Theatre Studies I. This course continues to explore acting methods, styles, and direction of classic through contemporary drama. It is designed to provide the serious theatre student the opportunity to experience leadership through student direction, stage management, student technical direction or acting. Emphasis will be placed on the ability to analyze, prepare and deliver dramatic presentations for an audience.
Activities: Students are required to participate in the Wisconsin High School Forensic Association's One Act Competition and scene work in the classroom. All students are required to attend designated scheduled rehearsals outside of regular class time and must attend a Neenah High School theatre production during the semester and write a critical review of the performance.
