Prerequisite: Consent of Art Department Chair.

Course Content: Art Skills - 2D is designed to provide a more individualized approach to basic art concepts. Students will develop fine motor skills, understand color and spatial relationships, and will use line and design. The curriculum is designed to enhance cognitive as well as physical capabilities. It incorporates a more structured approach to the use of art making media and tools in the area of two- dimensional work.

Course Activities: Individualized developmental art skills in a studio environment. Students may participate in field trips.
