Course Content: This is a one-semester course that will be available for students to take either frst or second semesters. The aim of this course is to provide a solid understanding of3-dimensional media and design. The course provides students the opportunity to explore and learn various techniques in 3-dimensional design and art making. Creative problem-solving skills are developed through preliminary work in a sketchbook and depth of learning through a variety of meaningful projects.
Course Activities: Studio artwork, participation in field trips and art shows. In the past art field trips have included going to UW-Oshkosh, Milwaukee Art Museum and Bergstrom-Mahler Art Museum
Cost: A lab fee of $20 covers basic art supplies such as a sketchbook, clay, glazes, glass mosaic and sculpture supplies.
