Content: This course is designed for ninth and tenth-grade students and continues to develop the skills necessary for success in future social studies classes and the global community. The primary purpose of this course is to provide an overview of the geographical, historical, cultural, and political aspects of Asia and Africa. In addition, modern issues and current events will be integrated into this course.
Activities: Reading paperback books, research paper(s), multiple texts, videos, lectures, class discussion, simulations, small group problem solving and oral reports.
