Tyler Lamar

Tyler was born in Portland, Oregon and has lived there her whole life. She is now a junior at David Douglas High School, where she has been involved in the school's band program. She plays the Tenor Saxophone in the David Douglas Wind Ensemble, as well as in the school's top jazz group. She has been playing saxophone for 6 years, and she's very passionate about it. She also enjoys playing guitar, which she has been playing for a little over two years in her spare time. When she's not playing an instrument or listening to music, she likes going on walks and spending time with friends. This is her first year being involved in the journalism program, and she is looking to continue into Newspaper her senior year.
