It isn’t hard for people to argue that The Beatles are the best band of all time. Frankly, it’s harder to argue that they weren’t. They were incredibly successful and had a sound like no other. There’s a reason why people have to ask if things are “Bigger than The Beatles.”  One of the main factors as to why The Beatles were so successful is because they were able to flawlessly combine different styles of music to create a sound that was unique to them. They blended elements of rock, pop, psychedelia, and folk to create a sound that was both revolutionary and timeless. The Beatles were incredibly versatile, which meant they could produce different types of music that resonated with people of all generations. Even now, young fans believe that the Beatles were definitely ahead of their time. So many of their songs are tailored to different fan’s likings, which is why their fanbase is so diverse and ever-growing. They were capable of creating soft melodies that tugged at the heartstrings of fans, upbeat tracks that made people want to dance, and experimental pieces that pushed the boundaries of what was considered conventional ‘60s music.

Another reason why The Beatles could never be topped by another band is their impeccable songwriting skills. Surprisingly, the fab four never learned music theory. Regardless, it's obvious they had an excellent understanding of harmonies and chord progressions. Even with their lack of music theory knowledge, professionals do not hold back on praising them. The Beatles undeniably had a talent like no other and every single ounce of their success was well deserved.

The Beatles' influence reached beyond just music. They greatly captured the essence of their time and accurately channeled the ever-changing attitudes and values of the youth in their music.
