This is Kim who's in her 1st year as a staff reporter and 2nd year working in journalism. She's a Junior at David Douglas High School who is excited to be an Opinions editor. She's an aspiring writer and hopes to sharpen/hone her writing skills to make the most of this course. She likes to catch up on world news and current events, which is part of the reason why she decided to join The Highlander. She enjoys reading, watching Asian dramas, and hanging out with friends in her spare time. Her favorite foods includes Mì Quảng, a Vietnamese noodle dish that originates from central Vietnam.  Her favorite season is undoubtedly winter, as she strongly believes that snow is superior to all other types of weather. Kim's favorite place in the whole world would be her hometown in Vietnam which she had been able to visit this summer.
