Living an eco-friendly lifestyle is not enough  to say you’ve done your part with saving the planet.

The eco-friendly way of living consists of partaking in habits that are not harmful to the environment. Some routines to be more environmentally friendly are to recycle, use biodegradable products, save water, etc.

Recently, the Earth has been impacted by many negative qualities, such as pollution, the increase of greenhouse gasses, climate change, and even rising sea levels. As the future gets closer, the less time there is to help reduce these pessimistic patterns.

According to a study by Simon Kucher & Partners, in 2021, about 85% of the global population has altered their behavior by purchasing more environmentally friendly products. This begs the question, is that enough? Unfortunately, no, there’s so much more that can be done to be more environmentally-safe.

Best case scenario to make bigger impacts with helping our planet is supporting fundraisers that assist with keeping the environment clean and healthy. Charities such as Greenpeace Fund, Environmental Defense Fund, and Sierra Club are great campaigns to contribute to.

However, in most cases, not everyone can help out in that way, so being able to heavily reduce plastic and waste use, volunteer with cleaning the environment, avoid driving in cars and choosing to walk or bike, and buying locally or organically can still help the planet little at a time.
