Winter Formal a night to remember

The "Lost In A Dream" Winter Formal was held on Dec. 10 in the North Cafeteria, a glorious night for for over 500 students who attended the annual dance.

Beginning at 8 p.m. and ending at 11 p.m., students who bought tickets to the dance received memories which they’ll treasure for years to come. The dance was held in the North Cafeteria and on stage was a DJ playing music. Activities Director Kelsey Stiff’s 7th period Student Council students decorated the cafeteria to look dreamy, and the outfits worn were on theme, from a sky-blue dress with sparkles to a purple suit with a white bowtie.

Student Council decided the theme of the dance and the color scheme with inspiration from the internet and other council members. They expected 500 students to attend, and to their surprise the number of students who attended far exceeded their expectations.

Students were also able to take pictures at a photo booth, then claim the photos when their phone numbers appeared on a screen.

Student Council has already begun discussions of next year's Winter Formal theme.
