Books are not for everyone

Books are not for everyone. Teachers, students, friends, peers, and family always say that everyone will find the right book for them but I am still looking for mine. After reading maybe twenty pages of books it's really hard to not put down a book and never return to it. Schools make reading more of a chore than something enjoyable. Books also take up a lot of time. A movie can say the same things in less time.

Books require trees or computers. Our ecosystem is dying we should be trying to save as much paper as possible. As for computers, books take a long time to read, and spending that much time staring at a screen can hurt your eyesight.

Books take up so much space, especially if you own a couple. That space can be used for many other things. If someone sits all day and reads a whole day is wasted and your body can get more tired and drained when they were doing nothing all day but reading. Surely that energy can be put into something more productive.

Books only cause fights. People fight over the characters in books, the topics of books, the length of books, the context of books, and here we are, arguing about whether or not books are good. People banned certain books due to exposure to media they don´t want people exposed to. Books allow people to think they have authority over people's lives.
