Block Concurrent Sessions Quiz

Block concurrent connections is a plugin for blocking session. When student access quiz attempt, session information (Moodle session, user agent, IP) will be recorded. If same account attempts to access the same quiz from other computer or device or even browser, they will be blocked.

This is useful to prevent situation when someone helps student to solve quiz by accessing quiz with students username/password from other device. If student can attempting quiz that means no one is accessing this quiz attempt at the same time. Any attempts to continue quiz from other device are logged, so teacher can see log to determine if someone tried to cheat.

Quiz settings

Pada saat membuat Quiz, scroll hingga menemukan "Extra restrictions on attempts" lalu klik "Show more". Centang Block Concurrent Connections.

Ketika menggunakan setting Block Concurrent Connections akan muncul peringatan sebelum siswa melakukan attempt quiz now.

Apabila ada percobaan akses dengan device lain, maka akan muncul peringatan seperti di bawah ini. Tidak terjadi apapun meski tombol continue diklik.

ISSUE

Siswa tidak bisa akses Quiz setelah pindah device, bagaimana?

Apabila device siswa mengalami trouble, lalu terpaksa harus ganti gadget / menggunakan PC lab maka Teachers harus melakukan beberapa hal sebagai berikut.

1. Buka Quiz yang sedang dikerjakan oleh student.

2. Klik icon Gear yang ada di sebelah kanan atas.

3. Klik Results

4. Scroll ke bagian bawah. Cari nama student yang akan melanjutkan Quiz.

5. Klik Review attempt yang ada di kolom nama student tersebut, seperti gambar di bawah ini.

6. Ijinkan student mengerjakan kembali quiz nya dengan klik "Allow the student ..." yang ada di sebelah kanan atas.

7. Student dapat klik Continue the last preview dan melanjutkan mengerjakan quiz.
