A. Review of minutes, April 1, 2026

On motion and vote, the draft minutes were approved with a minor correction to the attendee record.

II. Proposed Drafts for Posting and Distribution

A. 3.0700.01 Management Safety Statement
(Renamed to "Environmental Health and Safety Program")

Mike Garcia and Christopher Berckermann presented a draft proposal. The AR has been renamed and rewritten to more concisely reflect the EHS department's roles, operational requirements, and compliance obligations. The proposed changes also clarify the corresponding responsibilities and expectations for the broader ACC community.

On motion and vote, the AR was approved to post for employee comments.

B. 4.0300.01 Telework

4.0300.01.1 Telework Guideline/Procedure

Neil, Aaron, and Mike Midgley presented draft proposals to revise the AR and G/P. The proposed changes are intended to ensure the College complies with the provisions of Texas Education Code Section 51.992: Restrictions on Telework for Higher Education Employees (TEC 51.992). Teleworking arrangements will be limited to a maximum of two telework days per week, and departments must ensure that in-person support is available at all times during the College's standard hours of operation.

On motion and vote, the AR and G/P were approved to post for employee comments.
