There were no comments received. On motion and vote, the revised rule was approved to send to the Chancellor for signature.

Kelly and Neil summarized the comments received from employees. The Council discussed a number of points and made additional non-substantive suggestions for refined language.
On motion and vote, the draft revisions were approved to send to the Chancellor for signature.

B. 7.0400.01 Use of College Facilities
7.0400.01.1 Use of Multi-Occupancy Private Spaces Guideline/Procedure (New)
Neil provided the rationale as briefed the Council on work that has been done to add a section to the AR and create a new G/P regarding the use of bathrooms and other multi-occupancy private spaces within the District's facilities.
Neil advised that the Chancellor will sign the documents into effect immediately to comply with new legislation [ref: Texas Senate Bill 8 (SB 8) and Texas Government Code Chapter 3002].
