On motion, and vote, the minutes were approved as noted.
II. Review following Posting for Employee Comments
A. 1.0200.01 College Seal & Logo
Alex Bryant presented comments received from employees. During discussion a number of additional changes were proposed. The Council recommended that the document be further developed and re-posted for employee comments.
B. 7.0401.01 Smoke- and Tobacco-Free Environment
7.0401.01.1 Smoke- and Tobacco-Free Environment Guideline/Procedure
On motion, and vote, the documents were approved to send to the Chancellor for signature.
III. Proposed Drafts for Posting and Distribution
A. 6.0100.01 Prohibition of Sexual Misconduct

6.0100.01.2 Sexual Misconduct Investigation Procedures (G/P)
Neil advised that the proposed changes were necessitated by updates to federal regulations. The new regulations are scheduled to go into effect on August 1, 2024 and therefore the Chancellor must sign the modified documents before that date. Charlene Buckley and Lori Robinson briefed the Council on the new regulations and answered questions from the Council.
Charlene will incorporate suggestions received from the Council during meeting into the versions that are signed by the Chancellor, and present them again at the next ASC meeting to complete the shared governance review process.
B. 4.0702.01 Resolution of an Employee Complaint or Grievance
4.0702.01.1 Resolution of an Employee Complaint or Grievance G/P
Jon Luckstead represented the committee formed by the Chancellor to review changes to the AR and G/P signed into effect on 9/20/23. He advised that the committee proposes that the AR and G/P be restored to the previous versions, signed 8/19/21, with the exception of non substantive changes (position titles and department names). On motion, and vote, the Council approved the draft proposals to be posted for employee comments.
