The male will flutter or vibrate his claws around the females head.
They usually lay around 20-40 eggs over several hours.

Snapping Turtles born in a egg. It usually takes 8-10 years for them to fully mature. Male Snapping Turtles reach sexual maturity at ages 4-5 while females take a few years longer then the males. You can usually tell the difference by their tail and how thick it is.
