White-winged Vampire Bats have the following characteristics

Trinidad is home to the most white-winged vampire bats. Some of the plants that grow in Trinidad include Bird Peppers, Gooseberries,Jackfru-it and Chickytoes

The climate of Trinidad and Tobago is tropical hot all year round. The maximum temperature hovers between 31 C and 33 C. Its mostly plains with some hills and low mountains

The common vampire bat tends to feed off mammals like cows, pigs and horses, while white-winged and hairy-legged vampire bats primarily feed on birds like sleeping chickens. White-winged vampire bat feeds mainly on the blood of birds. Its said that White-winged Vampire Bats colony can drink the blood of 25 Cows, but their metabolism is so fast that they must feed every two days to ensure their survival.
White-winged Vampire bats live in colonies like the other types of bats. They have dominance hierarchies. They interact by regurgitating food to one another.
Females are polyestrous, capable of becoming pregnant multiple times a year. They give birth to one pup at a time and they are monogamous. They don't have one season for mating so its all year round.
At nine months the pup is mature, males will leave the roost, and females stay with their mother's roost. Vampire bats live up to nine years in the wild and up to 20 years in captivity. They are sexually mature at the 9 months.
CAUSES OF DEATH
Birds Of Prey such as Hawks and Eagles are the most common predators and Snakes. They aren't sexual competitive. They can transmit rabies, this is uncommon because the only reports of rabies transmission from this species are from Trinidad.
COMPETITION
Vampire bats that form bonds in captivity and continue those friendships in the wild also hunt together, but once in wild unknown bats will fight each other over the blood pf animals.
IUCN RATING
Currently they're of least concern with their population and the population unknown.
IMPACT OF HUMANS
Sadly habitat loss, climate change, roost destruction, disease, deforestation, increasing numbers of wind farms are all causes of bats declining globally. Humans have been cutting down on destroying their habitat but there isn't a way to stop rabies yet.
