Social Structure
Pack or Solo: they are solitary diurnal animals and they sleep most of the time, they tend to distance themselves from their own kind
Male or Female led groups: males are more dominant and they fight to get to the females
Interaction: sloths mate and give birth in trees, females will let out a scream to notify the males where they are. Males will fight eachother by hanging from branches and swiping at eachother to win over the female
Reproduction
How often the mate: Once a year
How many mates: males will find as many mates as possible
Time of year: they will mate anytime through the year
mating rituals: after the sloths mate the male will try to go after the female again to mate
Number of offsprings: only one will be produced
Development
Stages of development: females reach maturity before males do
age before sexual maturity: 2 and 3 years
Gender Differences: There are not a lot of differences, it is hard to tell both genders apart
