Habitat

The habitat of the frilled shark consists of the continental shelf and the upper-to-middle continental slope. Frilled sharks are bottom dwellers and will eat crustaceans off of the sea floor. They can be found from 160 feet to 5,150 feet below sea level. Most will be found between 160 feet to 660 feet below sea level.
