Evolution:

The Borneon clouded leopard is a subspeciesof the sunda clouded leopard. It is native to the island of Borneo, and differs from the Batu clouded leopard  in the shape and frequency of spots, as well as in cranio-mandibular and dental characters. 

• The borneo clouded leopard has existed for thousands of years, with its history dating back to the pleistocene epoch whuch started 2.6 million years ago.

• 3 ancestors- Proailurus, Pseudaelurus, Panthera

• Description-  Medium sized cat, smaller than big cats like lions. The fur is a yellowish- brown or grayish.

• Size and weight- 26-55 pouds body length ranges from 24- 43 inches

• Life span- 10 to 15 years

• difference between males and females- Sexual dipmorphism where males are larger then females

habitat- Tropical and subtropical rainforests, they thrive in dense, primary  rainforest where theres plenty to cover.  

plants- The leopards are carnivores and don't consume plants

Invasive?- No, the bornean clouded leopard is not invasive and live in a natural ecosystem.

What do they eat?- Monkeys, smaller deer such as muntjacs, Birds, Rodents and bearded pigs.

They get there food by hunting using tactics like climing, hiding and sprinting.

Day 3-

-They don't live in pacs and are solitary animals.

-Bornean clouded leopards primarily interact with eachother during mating season during they time male and females will seek eachother out, after mating the male typically.

- Like most cats the leopards don't have a strict mating season, but through observations suggest  they may breed year round.

- They reach the sexual age of maturity at 2-3 years

-The main reasin of death of the bornean cloided leopard is habitat loss due to deforestation

- Their solitary animals so they can be quite competive when it comes to mating, males compete with eachother when it comes tonmating.

-The population trend is decresing as if right now due to factors that are  threatning there survival.
