Description of Habitat 

How much rainfall: Low rainfall. Bilbies do not need to drink water because they can retain the moisture from their food in their body

Plants: Spinifex grass and acacia shrubs

Animals: Spinifex hopping mouse, desert mouse, and great desert skink

Temperature: Dry and hot areas 

Terrain: Grassland, savanna 

Distribution 

Continents found: Primarily in Australia in grasslands, deserts, sand plains, and dune fields

Invasive at all? No

Diet 

What does it eat? Plant bulbs, spiders, termites, grass seeds, lizards, eggs, snails, small mammals

How often does it eat? Occasionally at night because they are nocturnal

How does it get food? They dig holes to search for food using their ears and sense of small. Their tongues are sticky so they can lick seeds from the ground

Any special foods? They consume sand as they look for seeds in the holes they dig.
