Description Of Habitat
They live about 30 meters below the surface in tropical and subtropical waters
Rainfall: none
Plants: sea grass, seeweed, sea plants
Animals: crabs, clams, mussels, shrimp
Temperature: they prefer to stay in warmer waters, typically they are not found in colder waters
Terrain: bodies of water
Distribution
Contients Found: Atlantic coast of north america
Invasive at all: not deadly poisonus, they have bene eaten by humans for many years, but there is a belief that they have some low level toxins (skin and organs)
Diet:
What does it eat: Feeds on small mollusks, crustaceans and other invertebrates
How often does it eat: 2-3 times a day
How does it get food: strong, beak-like mouths to crush the shells of small mollusks, crustaceans and other invertebrates.
Any special foods: sometimes eat crabs found underwater (in their habitat)
Are they invasive: no
