Typical Physiology: The typical appearance in this country is black hair, olive skin, delicate features, slim to moderately heavy build, height above average for world population. This last is particularly noticeable among the ruling class, who tend to be taller than average.
In July 1165, this country was invaded and conquered by Shintapoor's armies. Two cities were turned into smoking craters by some powerful magic before the country's leadership surrendered; the empress was reputedly in Urakami when it was destroyed.
Population centers are only named when they become large enough to be recognized as cities by the ruling elite. Smaller towns are simply referred to by their location in reference to true cities. Most of these small towns serve the function of fishing or farming, and have little other significane.
As all the Japanese deities were slain during the Judgement War, this country has had no clerics, druids, or paladins since that time, as all of them died out or disappeared within months. Many were seen to commit suicide.
This country is at least five hundred years old, probably much, much older.
