Notes: The population of Cole is entirely halflings. The Moss family owns almost half the town's lands, and one of their number is invariably elected as mayor and sheriff (one person holds both jobs). Outsiders are not welcomed, and most will shut their doors and hide if strangers pass through; this is due to centuries of warfare between the elves of Ranoas and the dwarves of Skaland.
Many of the residents travel to the river to fish on pleasant days.
