Absolute Animals is Aertael's first pet shop, opened in late 1166. A concept foreign to most, where a pet is something a child captures in the yard or a barn cat that is paid no attention, the idea of high quality housepets is catching on among those with leisure and money to afford such. Especially popular are the rare Micro-Animals, tame one-foot tall versions of wild animals like deer and lions! Proprietor Detirne Thornga is a druid and takes the best care of his charges. New shipments are available each Monday, typically about 40 creatures each week.
The shop also sells a full line of pet food, toys, cages, leashes and harnesses, training aids and the like. Rather than provide a list, treat 1 gold as $5 and price things as per the real world.
The druid can be seen for health issues for pets; charges vary, with a minimum of 10g for a visit not involving spell casting, and 100g and up for visits requiring magical healing.
