Notes: Castle Peryabar was founded in about EA 1000, by a cousin of one of the wealthy families of one of the supreme senators who had been making noises about the military having a stronger hand in running the country. He was bought off with lands, a castle, and a stipend; rumor has it that this is all he really wanted, and the rest was a ruse. Since then, the castle has become a farming center, as the lands around it are rich and have attracted a druid temple to Silvanus. There is a well-established grape arbor, and the wines made here are famous for their quality. The castle is also well known for a potent alcoholic drink they call the Water of Life, or "uisce beatha" in Celtic.
