This manor house has at various times been controlled by a vampire named Charnas and an evil-dominated character group. It is now the center of a magical field, a large trap created to keep the vampire from escaping after an attempt was made to destroy him. The holy zone was surrounded with areas consecrated by several of Attellaria's temples, and land outside of that was parceled out in 500' square tracts to many of those who took part in the battle. Player characters who own such parcels include Conner, Hazor, Paraswarm, Browyn, Kibbles, Siobhan, Essom, Frith and Droplauger.

Baronet Tim ruled the village and surrounding area before Charnas moved in; it is assumed he was slain during the takeover, as no sign has been seen of him since. Several of Tim's former henchmen still live in the Luingroth area.

Since the creation of the holy zone and the destruction of the vampires, the area has been ruled by a council of the property owners. However, most of them have either not developed their area at all, or are very seldom present, and there has been little need for any sort of local governance.

There are a number of smaller homes, businesses, a small farms outside of the mapped area.

The Luingroth manor was a large house, surrounded by a hexagonal wall with two towers and a gate house.
