1121-1127 - Marcus Valerius Corvus tried to root out corruption and reduce internal strife; he was murdered for his troubles
1127-1151 - Lucius Papirius Crassus took a much more subtle approach to improving his country, and lived to die of old age
1151- Quintus Publilius Philo is the country's first warrior mage, and third empress. She has survived numerous assassination attempts. At least two of them have been when she herself slew the attacker. She is rumored to be a very high level fighter and mage, and to have a vast array of powerful magic items. She also does not seem to be aging much; she was born in 1120 and looks far younger than her physical age.
