Notes: This is a halfling village. Other than farming and herding, it supports a large community of artists who work in various media. The mayor is Lori Lightfoot, a young halfling woman. She won the last election (which is for a 20 year term) in a hotly contested (as in, who threw the biggest party) election against the incumbent, Toni Preckwinkle.
The town is surrounded by a lush forest, huge old trees line the streets, and there are beautiful gardens everywhere. If asked about this, the halflings say it's just the way the town is, nobody really does anything special to keep it this way.
