A few miles west of Rosewall, in an area that was a clear hex until December 1166, is a forested grove. This is a young forest, with no trees more than a few feet tall as of 1166. In the center is a red ruby pillar. This was created by the sacrifices of Kibbles and Shadow, who were restored to life by their deity after being slain in the battle under the sea off the south coast of Attellaria in November 1166. They each gave up a large amount of their magic, and the pillar grew as they gave items to it.
Since this time, rumors have been heard from Rosewall that a young white horse can sometimes be seen in the grove, but none have been able to touch it or get it to approach. The grove seems to be enchanted Holy Ground, though to exactly which deity, it has not been determined.
