Notes: This small town is inhabited almost entirely by halflings. A few elves live in one neighborhood; the two groups have amicable dealings. The halflings have very little contact with outsiders, and treat any with suspicion.
Most in the town raise food in large gardens, have chickens or pigs, or a handful of cattle. There are two prosperous families, the Chubbs and the Bumbleroots; each owns large tracts of land, which are worked by laborers as farms and ranches. The Chubbs typically are elected as mayor, and the Bumbleroots typically hold the post of sheriff.
