This small border keep was established by a land grant given to a retired halfling fighter named Risa Liswin. The walls of the manor house are pink marble.

The keep is protected by 10 heavy human horsemen, 20 halfling light foot, 20 human longbowmen, 15 human heavy foot, 18 humans operating 9 ballistae located evenly along the outside walls, 6 humans operating 2 catapaults from the large courtyard, and 20 halflings operating 10 oil pots. There are about 75 halfling non‑combatants, and about 90 human non‑comabatants. All of the halflings, and about 1/3 of the humans, live in the keep, or have quarters there. There are smials sufficient for all of the halflings in the forested area nearby. Walls are 30' high, towers the same; all walls are 10' thick. There are four officers who are not zero level.

There is a young human female bard named Eeymi, a very talented musician but fairly low level, who tells stories at dinner. She's very tall, about 6'3", slender, slightly more attractive than average, wiry strength, very bright and clever.

The keep has a strong front, with a large gatehouse. There are large towers on the NE, SE and SW corners. the walls are 20' high all around. The stables are the grey-roofed building in the NE corner. The grounds around the castle are mostly farmed or pasture, out about 200 yards.
