Bio: Throughout the realms of Mortal Kombat, the Shirai Ryu and Lin Kuei have been enemies towards one another. Thanks to the combined work of Hanzo Hasashi and Kuai Liang, however, that hostility had ended. So when portals began appearing all around the many realms, the two assassins knew that they would need to help to defend against any invaders like those of Shao Kahn's calibur. As they entered into the realm of Death Battle, the fighters known by the code-names of Scorpion and Sub-Zero were ready to show just what these two masters of Kombat were able to do
Intro: A statue starts forming out of ice before Sub-Zero breaks out and looks to the opponent. "This fight shall be your last" he says to them. Then, a portal of fire next to him, and out of it pops Scorpion with a roar of anger before he looks to the opponent. "They will know true pain." he adds.
Scorpion is an in-between for a speed and a maneuvering character. He has swift attacks, but also mixes it up with a moveset that's all about maneuvering enemies or himself where he needs them to be. That said, he's not that good a range player and lacks in truly-offensive moves.
-Kunai Spear: Scorpion thrusts out his iconic chain knife with a "get over here!" or "come here!". If it hits the opponent, it will stun them and Scorpion will pull them towards him. Ideal for starting combos.
-Hellfire Punch: Scorpion vanishes in a plume of flame and reappears behind his enemy to plant a haymaker into their face.
-Hell's Grip: Scorpion puts a hand forward and a flaming, skeletal hand grips the enemy. It holds them still for a brief combo and, at the same time, causes mild fire damage. If the opponent button-mashes, though, they can break free of it.
-Hellfire: Scorpion summons a pillar of flame on the ground and, should the enemy be on that ground or step on it, they will burst into flames and take damage.
-Inner Fire: Scorpion surrounds himself in an aura of flame, burning anyone who comes to close to him and doing more damage if they touch him. Great defensive maneuver, even if the damage is minimal
-Scorpion flies through the opponent and grabs them. Firstly, he delivers a knee to the jaw, sending them into the air. Next, he fires one spear into the opponent's abdomen and the second one his opponent's head. Lastly, he pulls back, sending his foe headfirst onto the ground.

Sub-Zero's focus is around controlling his opponents using his moves, be it countering their attacks, keeping them from attacking, or chasing them down if they decide to get away. However, this requires using a lot of set-ups and quickly adapting to a situation when the time is right. One needs to know when it's best to defend, attack, or stay back to play Sub-Zero properly
-Iceball: Sub-Zero sends an ice projectile towards his opponent, freezing them on contact if they're hurt unless they block quickly. The only way to escape is for them to button mash. Great way of extending combos
-Ice Clone: Sub-Zero creates an icy copy of himself that freezes enemies that shatter it with direct attacks. One can run past the clone or destroy it with a projectile to get rid of it. Great move for countering aggressive opponents
-Slide: Sub-Zero ducks down low and slides along the ground, knocking opponents into the air. Good way to start combos or for chasing down players trying to run away.
-Ground Ice: Sub-Zero freezes a small part of the ground. If an opponent runs over it, they will end up sliding on it and slipping, setting them up for a free hit from Sub-Zero. Jumping on the ice, however, does nothing to them.
-Frost Barrier: Sub-Zero will create a barrier around himself made out of ice, rendering chip damage immune and freezing opponents who hit him physically. The barrier doesn't last for long, however, and a powerful enough projectile will render it useless.
-Sub-Zero does a Dive Kick to get behind his opponent, dizzying them, then creates a ball of ice and slams it to the back of their head. Then he creates a Kori Blade and stabs upward through their back before pushing his opponent to the ground.

-Sub-Zero does a slide maneuver to knock his opponent into the air. Scorpion then appears to ensnare the opponent with his spear and then slam them into the ground. The two beat the opponent around, knocking them into each other before they set their elements onto the opponent, Scorpion burning them from one side and Sub-Zero freezing them from the other.
(Scorpion and Sub-Zero are walking through what looks like an abandoned temple of some kind. They begin looking around at the artwork and artifacts that line its walls)
Scorpion: This place...those who worshiped here seem to have a fondness for kombat.
Sub-Zero: Indeed. It seems as though many of the places we've found have been dedicated to the ways of fighting.
Scorpion: So that begs the question of where the inhabitants of this world went to. It is clear that those we have fought come from other worlds like us.
(Scorpion walked over to a stand where one would put a sword until it was needed as we see a flashback to Hanzo standing in front of a similar one in his home as his deceased wife and son came over to him before coming back to reality with Sub-Zero standing behind him)
Sub-Zero: Hanzo. You seem lost in contemplation.
Scorpion: It's fine. Just...even after all these years...my memories of them are still in tact.
Sub-Zero: From what I have learned, your wife and son were very kind. Even to Lin Kuei members such as Bi-Han. Their innocence in the matters of our clans were why we did not target them.
Scorpion: Yes...until Quan Chi decided to murder them.
Sub-Zero: It is difficult losing someone you cared about...but be glad they were not transformed into heartless creatures.
Scorpion: Bi Han was already heartless. His return as Noob Saibot only made him concerned with himself.
Sub-Zero: But I have moved on from the loss of my brother, both his life and his sensibilities. It may take time, but I hope you can move on from your lost family as well.
(Scorpion looked pensive before there was a loud thud of impact on wood. The two warriors turned to see two other fighters standing in the doorway. One was dressed in orange and blue with blonde, spiky hair. The other in darker colors with blood red hair and eyes that looked empty)
Gaara: More fighters that we must battle against
Naruto Uzumaki: Alright! I've been itching for another fight since the last one!
Sub-Zero: You warriors do not belong here. If you know what is good for you, you will leave now, or your life will be lost
Gaara: If you're attempting to scare us, you are sadly mistaken
Naruto: Yeah, I'm always itching for a fight!
Scorpion: Arrogant children. You will know better than to challenge fighters such as us.
(Scorpion's eyes then began to glow with fire)
Scorpion: If you choose to fight, then know that you will suffer like so many foolish warriors before you!
(Gaara and Naruto got into defensive stances while Sub-Zero merely stood with his arms crossed and Scorpion looking like a savage man ready to strike at any minute before the screen fades away)
The combined might of Sub-Zero and Scorpion was more than enough to make their way through the world of Death Battle with ease. The two warriors, who seemed like complete opposites in every way, had shown that their training and skills made them formidable. When they returned to their world, the assassins were welcomed with honor from the Lin Kuei, even if Scorpion was once their sworn enemy. Soon after, Hanzo returned to his former home from his time as a member of the Shirai Ryu and found a small shrine dedicated to the fallen warriors and innocnets that was set up by Hanzo's student, Takeda Takahashi, and his friends while he was gone. While it wasn't the same as his family being back, Hanzo cared only for what it meant. It wasn't much, but it was something.
