Bio: A Pokemon with a borderline-human obsession with honing its bodies, Lucario tend to isolate themselves on mountainous terrain to hone their skills. Despite this loner mentality, a Lucario can be trained to become a loyal friend. With enough time and skill, it's even possible for a Lucario to even learn human speech, either direct or telepathic.

Special Attacks:

-Aura Sphere: Lucario fires a sphere of bluish energy at the opponent, Hadoken-style. The strength and distance of the attack depends on the strength of the attack button.

-Metal Claw: Lucario's wrist-spikes turn into silver claws and he takes three swipes at the opponent, advancing slightly with each swipe.

-Bone Rush: Lucario summons a bluish bone and spins it in front of him like a quarterstaff. Can use one of three buttons afterward to use an extra attack...

LIGHT: Jabs the opponent, repeatedly, with one end of the bone.

MEDIUM: Whirls the bone upward to uppercut the opponent, then turns it into a horizontal swing.

HEAVY: Slams the bone down in front of him, creating a small shockwave that grounds point-blank opponents.

-Aura Sense: Lucario braces himself to the ground, glowing blue, then uses one of three moves if he's attacked. This move is only active for a split-second, so timing is required.

LIGHT: Hits them with a three-hit punch combo.

MEDIUM: Dashes through the opponent, grounding them.

HEAVY: Creates a short-range explosion of Aura.

Throws

FORWARD: Lucario jabs the opponent in the stomach, then hits them with an open-palm strike laced with Aura.

BACKWARD: Kicks the opponent's leg, then flips over them and kicks them in the back

Super Moves:

-Aura Boost: Lucario taps into its aura powers and gains a flaring coat of blue fire. For the rest of the match, its attack strength will gain a boost based on how much damage it has taken upon activation. Aura spheres become bigger, Metal Claw goes higher, Bone Rush has longer reach, etc. This does not stack power--i.e. "Lucario won't get stronger the more damage it takes", so choose its activation wisely.

-Dragon Pulse: Lucario's eyes glow bright blue and he gathers aura in its mouth, then fires it forward as a colossal beam that spans most of the stage. It can also be used in midair and slowly angled up or down to track enemies. After the attack goes through, Lucario will need a brief moment to recharge, leaving him vulnerable to attack for up to three seconds.

-Extremespeed: Lucario charges blue energy into his body, then dashes forward. If he hits an unblocking opponent, he will dash through them repeatedly, punching and kicking at high speeds with each hit until he stops and lets the opponent fall down behind him.

FATALITIES:

-Killer Aura: Lucario dashes at the opponent and touches his paw to their forehead, his eyes glowing blue. The opponent appears to enter a trance, their eyes glowing a similar color...until Lucario's turns red, then they start screaming in pain. Red aura burns out their eyes and mouth, then spreads all over their body, reducing them to a charred husk.

-Bone to Pick: Conjuring a bone-shaped staff made of Aura, Lucario smashes the opponent across the face, staggering them. He then uppercuts them with the staff, snapping their head up, then jumps into the air, bone over his head, and rams it down their throat until it protrudes out of their gut. Lucario then lets it go and lets the opponent fall over, still oozing blood.

Intro: Lucario sits meditating, then snaps his eyes open, stands to his full height, and generates aura from his paws as his eyes glow bright-blue.

Outro: Lucario generates Aura from his palms, then springs high into the air and comes back down, balancing on one foot and palms clasped together.

Prologue: Wandering the world by itself, Lucario sought ways to become stronger, but also sought a means to dull the pain left behind from the trainer he had lost some time ago. No matter what training he put himself through or how much he meditated, nothing could fill the hole in his heart. When the wandering Pokemon came across a bizarre portal, the aura that he felt was unlike anything he had felt before. Sensing something both alien and familiar, Lucario set off into the world of Death Battle.

Rival Cutscene:

(Standing atop the peak of a tall mountain, Lucario balanced on the narrow spire with perfect precision.)

Lucario: (thought) I can tell I've come far. These opponents have proven worthy adversaries...

(Lucario's eyes open, then he jumps down to a nearby pathway and he shakes his head.)

Lucario: But still...I feel no closer to clarity even after all these victories.

????: Could it be that you have no one to fight for?

(Lucario doesn't turn, but he recognizes the voice and senses the aura of a tall, foxlike creature that seemingly materializes behind him.)

Lucario: I have nothing to prove to you, Renamon. We all know how our last duel ended.

Renamon: I can hear it in your voice and see it in your stance. You feel empty because someone you cared for is no longer with you, am I correct?

Lucario: You're not one to talk. You're in this by yourself too, aren't you?

Renamon: True. I am alone in this world, but someone is waiting for me back in my world. It is because of them that I cannot back down.

(Lucario finally turns to face Renamon.)

Lucario: So, you know just how deep a bond can be? (paws light with aura) Prove it to me in battle.

Renamon: As you wish. (lights paws with ghostly fire)

(Fade to black.)

Ending: Victorious over the Mastermind of Death Battle, Lucario chose not to return home...not immediately anyway. Instead, word reached him of a shaman who could speak to the spirits of those long-dead residing in a place called "Earthrealm". Lucario sought out the shaman named "Nightwolf" and requested he find the soul of his past trainer. The Matokan shaman found that very soul and Lucario was able to speak with his trainer once more, easing the burden on his spirit. With his fighting spirit intact once more, Lucario returned to his world with a newfound determination.
