Bio: In an attempt to save his adoptive father from cancer, stunt-biker Johnny Blaze turned to the only being that he felt could help and formed a contract with Mephisto. The high-demon granted Johnny's wish and cured his father, but this turned out to be a trick to lure Blaze into eternal servitude and he killed his father to ensure his loyalty. As part of the contract, Blaze was bonded to the demon of fear, Zarathos, and became Hell's top bounty hunter as well as its most dangerous entity--the Ghost Rider.

Special Attacks:

-Hellfire: Ghost Rider spits a short-range stream of fire straight ahead, or at an upward or downward angle depending on the button used. It will hit multiple times on impact and inflict fire damage, and is mostly used to punish those who get too close to him.

-Chaos Bringer: Ghost Rider lashes out with his chain and, if it hits successfully, he will latch onto the opponent and pull them towards him.

-Hell's Embrace: Ghost Rider lashes his chain at an upward-angle to catch airborne opponents and drop them down on the ground.

-Conviction Slam: Ghost Rider lashes out with his chain to grab the opponent, spin them around once, then slam them hard on the ground.

-Chain of Rebuttal: Ghost Rider whips his chain straight forward, lacing it with open fire to hit the opponent multiple times and push them backward at the same time.

-Chain of Punishment: Ghost Rider whips his chain up at a 45-degree angle to hit airborne opponents multiple times and inflict fire damage.

-Judgment Strike: Ghost Rider uses his chain to whip a series of projectiles that fan out in a crescent formation, making them hard to avoid. A character with above-average jump height can avoid them, though.

-Heartless Spire: Ghost Rider creates a small eruption of fire that can catch close-range opponents, ignite them, and launch them into the air.

Throws

FORWARD: Ghost Rider snares the opponent's foot in his chain, whips them into the air, then kicks them away as they come down.

BACKWARD: Ghost Rider snares the opponent with his chain, then pulls them towards him and kicks them in the back, landing them on their face.

Super Moves:

-Hell Bike: Ghost Rider seats himself on the Hell Bike, revs the engine, then rides it across the stage, striking the opponent many times on successful hit and inflicting serious fire-damage. When it reaches the other side of the stage, it dissipates in fire and Ghost Rider is left standing where it disappeared.

-Hellfire Maelstrom: Ghost Rider swings his chain over his head, lighting it on fire and creating a whirlwind of chain fragments and fire before slamming the chain down on the ground to produce a second wave of fire.

-Penance Stare: Ghost Rider lunges forward and, if he makes direct contact, will grab the opponent, haul them up to eye level and gaze into their very souls. The camera zooms into Ghost Rider's eyes, showing nothing but open fire and flashes of the opponent in pain. When the move fades, the opponent is passed out on the ground.

FATALITIES:

-Burning Rubber: Ghost Rider snaps his fingers, summons his Hell Bike, then hops on it and takes off on a collision course with his opponent. The front wheel slams into them, planting their body in the ground...and keeps going, pushing the opponent along for the ride and kicking up a trail of dirt and rocks. Gradually, the flaming tires chew away at their body until Ghost Rider slams the brakes and steps off. The opponent's body is now revealed to be no more than a charred husk on the ground.

-Blazing Binds: Ghost Rider swings his chain over his head a few times, then lashes out to wrap the opponent in its metal binds. The chain then lights on fire, searing the opponent's body and causing them physical pain. The chains ramp up the heat, glowing bright red and causing the opponent's body to smoke and smolder. With one deft tug, the chains sear right through the opponent, leaving them in still-smoking segments on the ground.

Intro: Ghost Rider rides in on his Hell Bike, slides to a halt, then gets off the bike and whips out a flaming chain, dissipating his bike in a burst of fire.

Outro: Ghost Rider calls his bike, seats himself on it, then revs it up before taking off, leaving a trail of fire in his wake.

Prologue: The long and fiery road of the Ghost Rider was seemingly neverending, but Johnny Blaze was thrown for a serious loop when portals materialized all over Earth and most of the Marvel Universe. He swiftly suspected demonic power and, while some kind of aura emanated from the depths of the hole in space, it was unlike the aura that Mephisto himself reeked of. He still felt action had to be taken, lest some greater evil continues to plague the world. With his motor roaring, he rode onward into the world of Death Battle.

Rival Cutscene:

(In a vast desert, down a simple dirt-road, a sole vehicle tears across the landscape, leaving a trail of fire in its wake. It's revealed to be Ghost Rider and, while his visage may not indicate it, he's clearly not pleased.)

Ghost Rider: (thinking) Hmph. This road keeps going forever. It's enough to wane away even MY patience, and I've been down the roads of Hell too many times to count...

(As Ghost Rider nears a seemingly-empty town, a huge blast of energy bursts through one of the building's rooftops--a blast of energy that kicks up a sizeable dust cloud as it escaped. THIS catches Ghost Rider's attention.)

Ghost Rider: Guess someone's looking for attention. Wonder how they'll feel when they realize they got it from the last person they want it from?

(Ghost Rider veers off the road, then takes off in the building's direction, riding straight up its surface and peering down the hole before dropping straight down it. Pacing around the room, his back to Ghost Rider, is the chalky-white, war-paint wearing punk-biker, Lobo.)

Lobo: FINALLY. Been tryin' to get someone's attention all day. (turns and starts before scratching his chin) Well, lookie what we got here! And I was just itchin' for a little payback, too.

Ghost Rider: You really want to try your luck again, Lobo of Czarnia?

Lobo: Hey, whatever don't kill me... (pulls back a fist and decks Ghost Rider hard enough to send him flying back) Only gives ME time to kill THEM!

(Ghost Rider picks himself up, puts his jaw back into place, then whips off his chain.)

Ghost Rider: Hell's too good for you, Lobo. I'll save them the misery.

Lobo: Yeah, yeah, but first things first... (whistles)

(With a running start, Lobo hurls himself from the window, catching the handlebars of his Space Hog and flying up so that Ghost Rider can see him.)

Lobo: Let's take this to the road, ya boneheaded bastich!

Ghost Rider: Don't mind if I do. (snaps his fingers and summons his Hell Bike) Let's ride.

(Ghost Rider takes off on his bike just as Lobo speeds off, the two bikes tearing through the desert, side-by-side. Lobo gives Ghost Rider a look, then grins madly as he whips out his chain hook and slams the brakes. Ghost Rider tears past him, then makes a wide turn, whipping out his Hell Chain. Both lock eyes from afar, then slam the gas. Their bikes roar as they speed forward, their riders swinging their chains over their heads like lassos.)

Ending: Subjecting the Mastermind of Death Battle to all the pain and suffering he had inflicted on countless victims, Ghost Rider reduced the poor creature's soul to ash, then used his technology to return to his world. Not long after his return, he made a quick stop to Mephisto's realm. Mere minutes later, he had Mephisto bound in chains...and with two acquaintances with blades to the high demon's neck--Dante and Trish. In the end, Mephisto yielded and handed over a contract that Ghost Rider proceeded to burn to ash. He returned to give the good news to Spider-Man...and with a beaming Mary Jane Watson in tow.
