Bio: The man known as Gouki was the brother of martial arts master Gouken and both trained under a master named Goutetsu. After a dispute of what direction they should take their training, Gouki left to train on his own and embraced the demonic art of Satsui No Hado. After mastering this evil art, Gouki would take up the title of "Akuma", literally meaning "demon", kill his master, and wound his own brother to the point of leaving him in a coma. Since then, he has devoted his entire life to combat and strengthening his ability through finding worthy adversaries.

Special Moves:

-Gohadoken: Akuma launches a reddish fireball at his opponent. Its strength, speed and range can be increased depending on what button is used.

-Shoryuken: Akuma jump-uppercuts his opponent. Useful for catching opponents out of the air or sending them upward for further combos.

-Tatsumaki Zankukyaku: Akuma spins toward his opponent with his foot outstretched to kick his opponent repeatedly.

-Kongou Kokuretsuzan: Akuma punches the ground and creates a field of demonic energy around him to strike nearby enemies. Enemies hit are knocked to the other side of the arena.

-Ashura Senku: Akuma appears to move forward, leaving crimson after-images in his wake. He will travel further and faster than normal and phase through opponents and projectiles.

Throws

FORWARD: Akuma grabs the opponent by the arm and judo-throws them over his shoulder.

BACKWARD: Akuma grabs the opponent by the shoulders, then drops on his back and kicks them backward with his foot.

Super Moves:

-Satsui No Hado: Akuma stomps the ground and his body begins to radiate a red, demonic aura. For a brief period of time, his attacks will become stronger, faster, and harder to block or evade. Fades after a few seconds.

-Demon Armageddon: Akuma performs a back-roundhouse kick that sends the opponent into the air, then performs a Tatsumaki kick that spins him enough to envelop him in a whirlwind of sorts. He slams the whirling kick into the opponent's midsection, then flies right through them, doing massive damage with that single strike.

-Wrath of the Raging Demon: Akuma uses a form of the Ashura Senku and, if he should touch his opponent, the screen will go black, save for a few impact effects. When light and color returns, the opponent is on the ground, Akuma towering over them with his back turned to the camera and the kanji symbol for "heaven" blazing on his back and the background.

FATALITIES:

-Demon Sacrifice: Akuma roars as he charges his fist with ki, then punches the opponent so hard that his hand goes right into their body. With another roar, he retracts his hand to reveal that he's holding their still-beating heart. As the opponent falls to the ground, dying, he crushes it in his grip with an air of finality, blood spattering his face.

-Failure's Consequence: Akuma stamps a foot, the kanji for "demon" flashing behind him, then punches the opponent four times. Stepping back from the attack, he turns away from the opponent, who keels forward as three parts of their back fly outward. Finally, the back of their head explodes outward and they fall to the ground, dead.

Intro: Akuma stands, back turned to the camera, then looks over his shoulder. He then turns around to stomp the ground, the Satsui no Hado aura flashing briefly, before taking his combat pose.

Outro: Akuma will raise a hand into the air, punch the ground, then turn his back to the camera, the "heaven" kanji symbol blazing on his back.

Prologue: Akuma, the raging demon, had yet to meet a true challenge. Even that fool, Bison, couldn't stand up to his demonic fury, his incredible skill, and his terrifying strength. One night, for reasons unknown to him, Akuma found himself in a world unfamiliar to him. A messenger reached him and gave him the offer of competing in the Death Battle tournament. On finding out that his opponents would all be from different worlds, Akuma agreed, eager to find new opponents to test the limits of the Satsui no Hado...

Rival Cutscene:

(Akuma strides forward, slow and steady, then stops, clenches his fist, and shouts to the heavens...)

Akuma: Is this all you have to offer?! Everyone I've faced has been WEAK! GIVE ME A REAL FIGHT!!!

(Akuma senses a presence and he turns to slam his fist into whatever is behind him: a flaming skull. The projectile shatters and fades on impact with his fist and, not too far away is his past foe, Shang Tsung, who boasts a conniving smile on his face.)

Shang Tsung: I see your reflexes are as swift as I remember.

Akuma: I killed you once already, shapeshifting dog.

Shang Tsung: I cannot die so easily, Raging Demon.

Akuma: I have no time for weaklings like you. Get out of my sight.

(Akuma turns to walk away, only for Shang Tsung to appear in front of him in a burst of fire.)

Shang Tsung: I'm afraid you will not leave this place, Demon.

(Shang Tsung holds up his hands, lighting them with green fire that takes on a vague skull-like shape.)

Shang Tsung: Not until I reclaim that which is mine, that is.

Akuma: If you are so eager to die again, then SO BE IT!

(Akuma stomps the ground, his body alight with the distinct glow of Satsui no Hado in action. Shang Tsung hooks his fingers into claws as he takes a battle-ready pose.)

Shang Tsung: YOUR SOUL WILL BE MINE!

(Both stand, ready for combat, as the screen fades to black.)

Ending: Akuma defeated every single Death Battle participant he happened across, almost with incredible ease. Leaving the likes of Superman, Thanos, Darkseid and more defeated at his feet, he saw himself as a perfect warrior. On returning to his realm, he saw everyone else, not himself, as the challenger. He was now the one everyone aspired to defeat...and Akuma wouldn't have it any other way, seeing himself as the best and crushing hopeless opponent after hopeless opponent. He had truly become a demon.
