Bio: With the rising popularity of androids based on the designs of Mega Man, the Reploid population grew exponentially in the distant future. However, the swift rise of a program-altering virus caused crimes involving reploids to skyrocket. To combat this virus without risk of infection, a new group of reploids was created--the Maverick Hunters, and at their helm was Commander Sigma. However, after a fateful battle with Zero, the very virus he was designed to withstand ended up merging with his own programming, turning him into a genocidal maniac bent on the extinction of mankind.

Special Attacks:

-Overlord Laser: Sigma can fire a beam of red energy from his eyes that angles towards the ground. It does very little damage, but has a broad effective range and can neutralize standard projectiles.

-Arc Divide: Sigma swings his saber to create an energy wave that can angle either straight forward, down from above, or up from the ground. Can be chained for a two-hit combo w/proper timing.

-Straight Divide: Sigma dashes forward a short distance, going straight or at an upward/downward angle, coating himself with green energy and swinging his saber.

-Reflector Magnum: Sigma puts a hand forward and shoots two small fireballs at seemingly-random directions, but they can ricochet off the floor and back-wall and they move very quickly, making them hard to avoid.

-Mirage Claw: Command Grab. Sigma hauls the opponent up into the air, then slams them down on the ground, slashing them with his saber on the way down.

-Counter: Sigma holds his saber in front of him, enabling him to block and reflect certain projectiles. Its effective window is short, however, requiring precision to work effectively.

*Counter Teleport: Follow-up to "Counter". After a successful reflect, Sigma will vanish, reappearing behind the opponent and slashing downward with his saber.

Throws

FORWARD: Sigma uppercuts the opponent with his saber, then slams them back to the ground.

BACKWARD: Sigma grabs the opponent's head, stabs them with his saber, then raises them over his head and slams them to the ground.

Super Moves:

-Doom Buster: Sigma charges energy in his hand, then fires a large, fast-moving fireball that flies across the stage. It's hard to dodge due to its size and speed, but its damage is moderate at best.

-Blazing Line: Sigma hovers into the air, then fires red lasers from his eyes, dragging his gaze across the stage floor and causing a chain of fiery explosions to advance on the opponent. Capable of juggling them if they're close enough to Sigma.

-Final Sigma: Sigma coats his hand in green energy, then reaches out to grab the opponent. If he connects, he will lift them up by the neck or head and look them in the eye, dragging them into a sort of virtual reality. As the opponent looks around in surprise, a red wire-frame version of Sigma appears and plants a haymaker into their back, knocking them into another similar model that kicks them into the grip of yet another. The opponent gets smashed into the ground, then tossed into the air as all models pull a saber and thrust upward just as the opponent falls. Back in the real world, the opponent has fallen limp in Sigma's grip and he dumps them on the ground.

FATALITIES:

-Grid Cutter: Sigma emits lasers from his eyes, but they spread out and form a sort of "scanning grid" that encases the opponent's entire body. After a split-second, he ceases and crosses his arms in front of his chest. The opponent's eyes roll upward, then their body starts to fall apart until all that's left of them are a bunch of fleshy, bleeding cubes.

-Sigma Supreme: Sigma vanishes in a flurry of data cubes, then disappears and re-shapes into a giant robot, his head atop it and grinning madly. Before the opponent can realize what's going on, a massive, disembodied hand grabs them, squeezes hard enough for their bones to audibly break, then drops them and fires a massive, green laser that completely obliterates them.

Intro: Sigma strides into the ring, cape concealing his body. With an evil grin, he casts the cape aside, revealing his true form, then ignites his saber.

Outro: Sigma gathers green plasma in his hand, then smiles and takes a backhand swipe at the camera.

Prologue: Suffering yet another defeat at the hands of Zero and X, Sigma had rebuilt his body and had just started to put together his plans to assemble a new army of Maverick Hunters...when an unexpected occurrence threw him a wildcard. Portals appeared across the planet and Sigma could tell, just by looking at them, that it was rife with opportunity. Choosing his up-to-date body as his personal carrier vehicle and arming himself to the teeth, Sigma went to war once again.

Rival Cutscene:

(In a ruined, futuristic city, Sigma gazes upon the destruction and ruination before him from a high rooftop.)

Sigma: These humans...they're such hardy pests. All this could have been avoided, but they continue to be a plague. Just another reason to wipe them out and strengthen the reploid reign.

(Sigma shifts his gaze downward and he teleports in a whirl of green pixels, reappearing on a suspension bridge where he watches a silvery robot smash a helpless reploid to pieces.)

Sigma: What good is your empire if you have no subjects to build you up?

(Ultron turns to see a familiar reploid striding towards him. It's none other than the original Maverick Hunter--Commander Sigma.)

Ultron: (discards dead reploid) I do have subjects, Sigma, and they're all united under one will--MINE.

Sigma: Such confidence in your ability, yet you don't have the foresight to diversify your own troops. What a waste.

Ultron: I wouldn't be talking about wasted potential if I were you.

Sigma: And why is that, may I ask?

Ultron: Your grip spanned your entire home planet...I held an entire galaxy in my grip.

Sigma: And yet it slipped through your fingers. (unclips saber) Let's see how long you can hold on... (ignites it)

Ultron: They say that insanity is doing the same thing expecting a different result. (ignites hand with red plasma) You're a prime example of that term.

(Sigma charges and Ultron takes off to meet him. Sigma swings his saber, Ultron catches it, creating a shower of sparks between them. Fade to black.)

Ending: Victorious over the Mastermind of Death Battle, Sigma put his master plan into action. Using the technologies of some of his defeated adversaries, such as Eggman and Metal Sonic, he was able to build himself a new army with hyper-adaptive capabilities. He saved the best samples for himself, however, to ensure there would be no power struggles. He then further developed the Sigma virus and used it to corrupt machines in any reality he planned to conquer, allowing him to storm them while they were in disarray.
