Red energy crackles from within the third eye on his forehead until he fires it, point-blank, at them. The laser burns right through their head, leaving a smoking hole that stretches from their forehead to their mouth. Satisfied at his opponent's passing, Jin drops them and takes flight.
-Hell's Combo: Jin Kazama charges his fists with lightning, then punches the opponent across the face repeatedly, their faces becoming bloodier and more disfigured with each hit. After nine hits, their eyeball dangles from a socket, and their jawbone is dangling from their head. The tenth and final punch, however, caves in their face completely. Jin then turns his back on them, letting them crumple to the floor.
Intro: Tightening his gauntlets to his hands, Jin looks up at the opponent with a fierce gleam in his eyes, then takes up a combat stance.

Prologue: Still seeking to rid himself of the evil that lurked within him, Jin Kazama's eyes fell upon a potential answer--portals that had materialized all over the world. Unable to discern exactly what they were, Jin suspected that there was an otherworldly nature to them. His options in this own world seeming fairly-limited, Jin decided to take his chances with them and ventured to one just outside of the Mishima Estate. Upon his arrival in the world of Death Battle, Jin saw opportunity and a new challenge to help him tame the infamous Devil Gene. He met this opportunity like he did any other--setting forth without question.
Rival Cutscene:
(A vast dojo greets the eyes of Jin Kazama, its vast doors wide open. As he inspects the building, he folds his arms across his chest as though in thought.)
Jin: An invitation? Or a trap? (pause, then snaps back to attention) As long as it leads to the answers I seek, I will face it.
(Uncrossing his arms, Jin passes the threshold into the courtyard, then ascends a row of stairs, meeting with an open-door chamber. Inside is a vast statue, several training instruments...and another man kneeling, deep in meditation. Jin recognizes the man in the karate gi, and his eyes narrow into cold slits. The stranger straightens up, then turns to look over his shoulder.)
Ryu: You've come...
(Ryu stands to his full height, turning to watch as Jin crosses the threshold and strides toward him with venom in his gaze. Neither of their expressions falter even in the slightest, not when Jin approaches or even when he stops a few paces away from Ryu.)
Jin: I shouldn't be surprised that you made it here too...Ryu Hoshi.
Ryu: What do you seek?
Jin: (remains silent, then clenches a fist) How? You harbor great evil in your soul...how did you conquer it?!
Ryu: ...I didn't.
Jin: What?
Ryu: The Satsui No Hado...I didn't conquer it. I accepted it. It is vile, but it is still part of who I am. By accepting it, I could move forward...and focus on bettering myself.
(Jin's clenched fist begins to shake in pure rage, small arcs of red lightning flashing down his gauntlet-clad arm.)
Jin: Of all the people I've fought, I thought you would hold the answers to my curse--to the Devil Gene. But you...You're just like all the rest!
(Jin suddenly sprints at Ryu, who takes up a defensive stance in time to block a punch with his forearm. Ryu counters with a high kick that Jin ducks under, aiming a kick at Ryu's back only to hit air as Ryu ducks in a sweep kick. Jin steps back out of its reach, then the two throw a flurry of hi-speed punches, blocks and counters. The two lock hands, eyes boring into each other with intense fire in their gazes.)
Jin: "Acceptance is key". That's what you said, right? So I should just give up and let this curse spread like a plague?!
Ryu: You misheard me. I said "acceptance" was the key, NOT "submission"!
(Ryu releases one of Jin's hands and grabs his other arm, throwing him over his shoulder. Jin rolls on impact, getting back to his feet.)
Ryu: Submission to your curse will turn you into a monster. Accept the curse as part of you, and you can strive to be something greater...
(Jin just stays silent as he fixes a murderous glare on Ryu. The Wandering Warrior shakes his head.)
Ryu: I cannot teach if you refuse to learn. So be it.
(Both resume their combat stances, ready for the next part of their face-off. Fade to black.)
Ending: Jin emerged victorious over all other combatants and mercilessly beat down the Mastermind of Death Battle. However, not long before his return, something from one of the combatants triggered something in the Devil Gene--one of the sons of a demon named "Sparda". Jin returned with control like he had never experienced before...and gained an insatiable lust for power in the process. One war had been brought to a swift end, but another one was ready to begin with the advent of Jin's new "Devil Trigger".
