Bio: Born to the New Gods on the fireball world of Apokolips, Uxas deceived his own brother Drax into absorbing a great force called "The Omega Effect". The end-result killed Drax, allowing Uxas to absorb the energy and take its power for himself. The Omega Effect bonded with Uxas and transformed him into a hideous, powerful being that would bear the newfound title of "Darkseid". Now the ruler of the hellish world, Darkseid would begin an eons-long campaign that would take him across the universe. His goal? Conquer all life and bring them all under his tyrannical wing.

Special Attacks:

-Omega Beam: Darkseid's eyes glow red and fire thin beams of energy that will zigzag across the stage, making them hard to predict their trajectory. Can be angled to go straight, upward, or down towards the ground.

*Omega Deception: At the cost of some super meter, Darkseid can further alter the paths of his Omega beams. High can go low, low can go high, and so on.

-Energy Palm: Darkseid advances on the opponent and laces his fists with crimson energy. He can combo the move up to three times with proper timing.

-Rising Knee: Darkseid swiftly advances and slams his knee into the opponent, knocking them back. Useful for close-range surprise attacks.

-Power Stomp: In midair, Darkseid can shoot straight to the ground, damaging anyone beneath him. If he's close enough, he will also shoot them with Omega Beams while they're down.

-Teleport: Darkseid vanishes into a crimson "Boom Tube", reappearing behind the opponent. He also has the option to backhand them when he re-emerges.

-Parademon: Darkseid opens a portal and one of three Parademons comes out of it. Upon fulfilling its use, caused by the input command a second time, it will disappear. Only one Parademon can be on the field at any time.

--Exploding: Will remain stationary until Darkseid performs the move again, causing it to explode and damage nearby opponents.

--Flying: Will follow Darkseid until he commands it. Depending on the distance, it will either shoulder-ram the opponent or shoot a fireball.

--Charging: Will instantly-attack the opponent from above, making it hard to defend against at times.

Throws

FORWARD: Darkseid grabs the opponent's shoulders, then blasts them point-blank with his Omega Beams.

BACKWARD: Darkseid grabs the opponent's head, then bounces them off the ground and backhands them away.

Super Moves:

-Anti-Life Equation: Darkseid holds up his hand and the background gains a red haze with white symbols flickering in and out of focus. For the next few seconds, the opponent will suffer steady chip-damage from their health and a slow-but-steady drain from their Super Meter. In this state, Darkseid cannot activate any other Super Moves and must wait for the equation to wear off before he can gain access to them again.

-Omega Assault: Darkseid's eyes turn burning-red before he fires his Omega beams. The beams will zigzag across the stage, making them hard to dodge effectively, and will make frequent return trips to hit the opponent front-and-back. After a few to-and-fro trips, the Omega beams will cease.

-Wrath of Apokolips: Darkseid turns his back on his opponent, then glances over his shoulder and fires Omega beams that fly right over him and at the opponent. If they hit successfully, they will push the opponent up into outer space, bounce them off satellites and asteroids, then smash them into the palm of a giant hand, which closes into a fist and vanishes into a portal. On the other end is a normal-sized Darkseid, who casually throws away the opponent afterward.

FATALITIES:

-Heated Gaze: Darkseid grabs the opponent and hauls them up to meet his face, his eyes glowing bright crimson with the Omega Effect. He then unleashes a point-blank blast of Omega Beams, causing the opponent to scream in anguish until it consumes their very being. By the time Darkseid finally lets up, the opponent is completely disintegrated to the point where not even dust remains.

-A Million Deaths: Darkseid creates a vortex and casts the opponent inside of it, giving them a view of his true form before trapping them in a white void. Suddenly, the opponent is ripped into bloody halves by Darkseid's vast hands, only to return to normal. Then they're incinerated, impaled, reduced to skeletons, and countless other deaths, all while regenerating each time. All this time, Darkseid is watching each death, all in separate viewing spheres orbiting around his throne.

Intro: Two Parademons step aside to reveal Darkseid, who steps forward, hands clasped behind his back and eyes glowing red with the Omega Effect.

Outro: Darkseid seats himself on an imposing throne, then clasps his hands in front of him and smiles menacingly.

Prologue: From his throne on Apokolips, Darkseid watched as heroes and villains across his universe disappeared into the portals. Gazing through the multiverse, he found it perplexing that the wormholes were not attached to any realm he was familiar with. And anything that could perplex the likes of Darkseid was worth looking into. Finding the nearest wormhole, he ventured in and emerged to an unpleasant surprise. He felt all of his essence falling into one single avatar, yet somehow the realm remained intact. Now vastly-intrigued, he sought to make this realm his new base of operations and promised to crush any beings who said otherwise.

Rival Cutscene:

(High up in the world's orbit, Darkseid surveys the kingdom he is surely soon to inherit, hands clasped behind his back.)

Darkseid: I haven't felt such anticipation in eons. It's almost enough to elate me.

(Darkseid's eyes flash as his vision focuses on a single tower. He smiles)

Darkseid: There. That will make the ideal throne room. Now, to find the one challenge that will take me there...(eyes flash again and his face sours) To think I have to squash a worm like him of all people. Very well.

(Darkseid opens a Boom Tube and floats into it. When he re-emerges from the other side, he is met with the familiar golden gauntlet and purple hide of the Mad Titan himself, Thanos.)

Darkseid: Your demeanor never ceases to disappoint me, Titan.

Thanos: Just as yours always disgusts me.

(Both pause for a second, then Thanos lets himself smile.)

Thanos: You've weakened since you came to this realm.

Darkseid: (unfazed) As have your little toys.

Thanos: Yet of the two of us, you're the one who has changed the most. You're different. You're...vulnerable. (holds up gauntlet)

Darkseid: I can assure you my power has not diminished by much, Titan. One glance is all I would need, and you would cease to exist.

Thanos: Or I could just close my fist and crush you.

Darkseid: (eyes begin to glow) You will try, Titan. And you will fail.

(From his eyes, twin trails of crimson Omega beams shoot out at Thanos, who clenches his raised hand into a fist. A violet semi-dome rises to meet the Omega Beams and absorbs them. Darkseid ceases firing them and Thanos' field glows crimson before he fires the beams right back at the Lord of Apokolips. He holds out a hand and the energy parts on contact, only for Thanos to rush him and throw a punch at him. Darkseid swerves to avoid it, then raises his opposite hand to catch Thanos' follow-up punch.)

Darkseid: Ever the temperamental one, aren't you, Titan?

Thanos: Only the fierce win wars. I figured you would know that by now.

Darkseid: If it is "fierce" that you want, then I will show you just how "fierce" I can be.

(Darkseid suddenly raises his boot and thumps it into Thanos' midsection, sending him sliding backward. Thanos is back up to full height and balance in no time, though, and he grins with amusement.)

Thanos: Finally. And here I thought you would bore me again.

Darkseid: (actually smiles) Oh, trust me. The battle is only just beginning.

(Both stand ready for the next round, the screen fading to black as Darkseid's eyes and Thanos' Infinity Stones glow brightly.)

Ending: With nowhere to run or hide, the Mastermind was crushed beneath the insidious heel of Darkseid's boot. Now seated on a new throne, Darkseid saw plenty of new opportunities, all ripe for the taking now that the multiverse was at his very fingertips. It all started with applying the Anti-Life Equation to the dimensional technology, emitting its energy and effects across countless realities and countless existences. With living beings falling to his will and bent toward his tyrannical ways by the second, Darkseid took the world of Death Battle and forged it into a New Apokolips, bigger and more horrifying than the last. His reign over all life had finally been achieved. Not "Hell on Earth", but something far, FAR worse.
