Name: Raphael
Age: 16
Race: Turtle
Title: Brawn of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Bio: Raphael was one of four baby turtles mutated by a strange ooze and raised by a warrior rat named "Splinter" in the art of ninjutsu. He is physically-powerful and skilled, but a regular victim of anger issues to the point of being borderline-psychotic. His frequent bouts with rage have led him to butting heads with his brothers, Leo especially, but he will often find a way to pull through for them and put his brute strength and ferocity to good use against evil forces.

Special Moves:
-Swiss Cheese: Raph thrusts his sais in rapid succession and will keep it up as long as the player keeps mashing an attack button.
-Sai Dart: Raph will throw one of his sais at the opponent like a dart. On impact, it will bounce off and embed itself in the ground. Raph can pick these pieces up at any time, but cannot use most of his special moves if he doesn't have at least one in hand.
-Skewer and Smash: Command Grab. Raph plunges his sai into the opponent's chest, then slams them on the ground behind him before kicking them away.
-Three-Hole Punch: Raphael gut-punches an opponent before socking them across the face, then finishes a combo with a powerful haymaker. Damage is notably increased when he has sais in hand.
-Rising Spike: Raph springs into the air, sais extended in an uppercut fashion and jabbing up repeatedly to skewer airborne opponents.
-Rushing Impaler: Raph rushes forward, sais stabbing forward as he advances. Can end the attack with an axe kick that floors the opponent.
Throws
FORWARD: Raph stabs the opponent a few times in the gut, then plants a whirling kick in their face to knock them down.
BACKWARD: Raph grabs the opponent's arm, turns his back on them, then stabs them with his free sai (elbows them if unarmed) before judo-throwing them.
Super Moves:
-Red Fury: Raph roars in anger and his body emits a faint red haze. In this state, his physical strength increases and, should he lose a sai, it will reappear in his grip in just two seconds. This form is on borrowed time, though, and he will be unable to block in this state.
-Ban-Sai: Raph twirls his two sais, then throws them at the opponent. They ricochet off on impact and Raph will catch them as the bounce off, resorting to melee attacks the closer he gets to his opponent. He will finish the combo with a two-hit punch from his sais that will knock the opponent backward.
-Mantis Spring: Raph leaps at the opponent and, should he connect, he will bring them to the ground, pin them down, then stab them 24 times with his sais. Afterward, he will step off, then give them a finishing kick for good measure.
FATALITIES:
-Sai-onara: Raph throws a sai at the opponent's foot, pinning them to the ground, then gets in close and starts stabbing them, repeatedly, in the chest. After many stabs, they're bleeding heavily and beginning to wobble. Raph plucks his other sai from the ground with his foot, catches it in his free hand, then he rams them both into the opponent's eye sockets and lets them fall to the ground, dead.
-Sai to my Face: Raphael stabs the opponent in between the eyes with one of his sais, the opponent screaming and reaching up to try and pull it out. Raph then takes the other sai, jumps in the air, and slams it through their cranium. The opponent's struggles weaken, and Raph punches the hilt of the sai in their face, forcing it deeper and knocking the opponent down.
Intro: A manhole cover shakes a few times, then flies off as Raphael springs out. On landing, he cricks his neck, then pops his knuckles and whips out his sais.
Outro: Raphael towers over the opponent, then turns to leave with an air of annoyance, and jumps down a manhole.

Stage: New York City Street
Theme Song: TMNT 2012 Instrumental Remix by Steve Whooler
_________________________________________________________________________________________
Prologue: After a scouting mission with his fellow Ninja Turtles, Leonardo reported to Master Splinter of strange activity in the alleyways of New York. These activities included odd portal-like anomalies dotting New York. Not wanting to risk danger to the city or the world itself, the Turtles went forth into a new world. What they didn't suspect, however, was that they ended up separated in the strange world of Death Battle.
Rival Cutscene:
(Raphael is running down an abandoned street, eyes darting back and forth for any sign of activity.)
Raph: Geez, everyone here just wants a piece o' me, don't they? And how do ya like that? Absolutely no sign of Leo or the others anywhere-
???: Raph? That you?
Raph: (stops, then groans) Ah, shell...
(Michelangelo rushes to meet him in a friendly way.)
Mikey: Well, whaddya know? It IS you, Raph! Any sign of Leo or Donnie anywhere?
Raph: I almost asked ya the same thing, Mikey, but ya know what?
Mikey: What?
Raph: (whirls on Mikey) You're borderline worthless by yourself! 'Course you wouldn't have found Leo or Don by this point. Now let's find the others so we can get the shell out of here.
(Raph brushes past Mikey and storms off, but Mikey catches up to him.)
Mikey: What's with the attitude, Raph? I also lasted this long in the tournament, so that's gotta prove somethin' right?
Raph: Yeah, that you got one long streak of luck.
Mikey: (rushes ahead of Raph and stops him) Okay, what's the deal? You seriously think I can't handle myself?
Raph: I don't THINK, Mikey. I KNOW!
Mikey: Oh yeah? (draws and twirls nunchaku) How 'bout I beatcha and show you a thing or two? THEN will you believe me?
Raph: (raises brow) That a challenge?
Mikey: You bet it is!
Raph: (draws sais) Fine. Don't go cryin' when I whip you...AGAIN.
(Fade to black.)
Ending: Despite all odds, the turtles reunited once again and Raph was the one who emerged victorious. He returned home to New York with his brothers, feeling his short temper slowly ebbing away. Splinter told Raph it was a sign that he was learning to control his anger and accepting patience as a virtue. Raphael, for the first time in years, finally felt a sense of true accomplishment. He hadn't mastered his anger yet, but it was the first step in the right direction that he desperately needed to take.
