Bio: A kunoichi of the Shiranui ninja clan, Mai was trained by both her deceased grandfather and the perverted-yet-legendary martial artist Junbei Yamada. Upon meeting Andy Bogard in the midst of a fighting tournament, Mai subsequently fell in love with him and has not stopped in her quest from receiving his love in return, even entering the King of Fighters tournament to prove her love for him, despite his lack of any real care. Nevertheless, she is still a deadly foe for anyone to face, regardless of her appearance and lovestruck attitude.

Special Attacks:

-Musasabi no Mai: Mai jumps into the air, latches onto a corner, then dives at the opponent. If used in midair, she will simply dive down at them.

-Hissatsu Shinobi-Bachi: Mai performs a forward-cartwheel kick to strike twice, then lunges forward to strike the opponent with her elbow.

-Kachousan: Mai throws a folding fan at the opponent as projectiles, whilst pulling out a spare one.

-Ryuuenbuu: Mai swings one of her fans, sending a plume of fire at the opponent. Has the option to perform a follow-up flare with proper timing.

Throws

FORWARD: Mai uppercuts the opponent with one fan, performs a series of graceful, broad-armed swipes, then backhands the opponent away.

BACKWARD: Mai jumps up on the opponent's shoulders and stomps down on them, repeatedly, until they fall on their back.

Super Moves:

-Chou Hissatsu Shinobi-Bachi: Mai performs her Hissatsu Shinobi-Bachi attack at the opponent, but her entire body is on fire, adding extra damage and inflicting burn-damage to the opponent.

-Shiranui-Ryuu Kunoichi-no-Mai: Mai dashes at the opponent and kicks them into the air, dashing past them repeatedly as little more than a red blur. She then lands in a ninja-crouch, stands up, and snaps her fan open before throwing out an arm, causing the still-airborne opponent to be engulfed in a fireball.

-Shiranui-Ryuu Ougi Kunoichi: Mai leaps into the air, puts her fan in her mouth, then rushes diagonally at the opponent. If she hits, she will knock the opponent into the air, dash past them two more times to send them higher, then grab their head with her feet and plummet downward, spiraling all the way, to smash their head on the ground. In the process, she has landed on her side, taken back her fan and unfurled it, and smiles in a flattering way while providing a good view at her cleavage.

FATALITIES:

-Deadly Fan-Tasy: Mai shuts her fans, then hurls one of them right into the opponent's face, embedding it between their eyes. She turns and spreads one, sending a small flame out and the fan embedded in their face catches fire. Flames lick out of their eye sockets and mouth until their face is a charred, black skull and they fall to the ground. Mai then produces an identical fan from her nonexistent bra and makes a flashy pose.

-Ninja Fire: Mai spreads her fans, which catch fire, then waves them both at the opponent. A massive wave of fire bursts from the arc of their swing and completely engulfs the opponent. When it clears, they're still writhing in pain until they fall to their knees as little more than a charred corpse.

Intro: Mai is wearing a pink kimono, then turns to face the camera, flings it off to reveal her battle attire, then pulls a fan out of her nonexistent bra and points it at the player like an accusing finger.

Outro: Mai smiles and strikes a pose with her arm outstretched and one of her fans opened...with a decent bounce from her unrestrained breasts.

Prologue: Mai Shiranui was on the lookout, once again, for none other than the object of her affections--Andy Bogard. Yet for the last few days, he was nowhere to be found, and the appearance of a portal in the middle of his last-known location was starting to worry the kunoichi. Days passed and Mai took this to mean that Andy had vanished into the portal's depths. Donning her combat-ready attire, she ventured forth into it...not even noticing that Andy had just walked out of the local Chinese restaurant behind her.

Rival Cutscene:

(Mai is hopping across rooftops in an abandoned city, her ninja skills allowing her to do so gracefully and with little effort. She stops after a while, then sighs as she puts a hand over her heart.)

Mai: Oh, Andy...I've come so far, yet I feel no closer to finding you, my love. (hand clenches into a fist as her expression changes from soft to determined) No...NO! Crying will get me nowhere. I have to be strong to find him. Only then, will I prove my love and worth to him-

(Mai looks down to see a familiar, bun-haired woman down below.)

Mai: Chun-Li? What's she doing here? (shrugs) Well, I won't find out from up here. Let's take a look...

(Mai springs from the rooftop and gently glides down to the ground where she walks up behind Chun-Li until she's close enough to touch her...)

Mai: Ah, we meet again!

(Chun-Li whirls around to see Mai Shiranui who was close enough to almost touch noses, then springs back and takes a kung-fu combat pose)

Chun-Li: Mai! How are you here?

Mai: (shrugs) I could ask you the same thing. So, what are you fighting for?

Chun-Li: I'm looking for someone.

Mai: Oh? I am, too. Someone close to you?

Chun-Li: Hardly. I want to find him so I can bring him to justice.

Mai: Hm...hey, Chun?

Chun-Li: Huh?

(Chun-Li swiftly ducks under a thrown folding-fan and looks to see Mai pull out another...from her nonexistent bra, no less.)

Mai: What on Earth are you doing?!

Mai: You clearly need to vent. Maybe a little friendly fight will get you back into your right mind?

Chun-Li: (gives it a quick thought, then smirks) You might be onto something. (readies combat stance) I've been wanting a rematch, anyway...

Mai: Be warned--in typical Shiranui fashion, I will NOT make it an easy victory! (takes her own combat pose)

(Fade to black.)

Ending: Mai was fierce in her final battle, but triumphed over the mastermind of all the interdimensional chaos. Standing over her fallen foe, she demanded to know what he had done with Andy Bogard. He told her the truth, which left her completely dumbfounded. Turned out he had never seen him enter the realm to begin with. After another beating from Mai (out of pure frustration from wasted time), the mastermind returned her home for fear of his life. As luck would have it, Andy was there to meet Mai much to her relief and delight. On hearing about her exploits, he admitted he was impressed with her skill and care for him, and that he might have to change his views on her. It was a start in her book.
