Name: Carol Danvers
Age: Unknown
Race: Human-Kree hybrid
Title: Champion of the Cosmos
Bio: Carol Danvers was once an air-force pilot and astronaut who befriended the Kree superhero, Mar-Vell, known to all of Earth as "Captain Marvel". During a freak accident involving a special space-engine that harnessed cosmic power, some of Mar-Vell's DNA was transferred to Carol, granting her immense power over all types of cosmic energy. While Carol went through several aliases, she chose to take up the mantle of Captain Marvel after Mar-Vell's tragic death. She's taken on many faces, but her power was well-recognized and has resulted in her working alongside several iconic heroes and teams, doing her best to live up to her predecessor's name and standards.

Special Attacks:
-Cosmic Blast: Captain Marvel fires a beam of golden energy from her palms that spans the whole stage, the strength, duration, and charge-time varying depending on the button used to execute it.
-Cosmic Barrier: Captain Marvel erects a wall of cosmic energy that reflects projectiles that hit it. It has a short lifespan, though, and will dissipate after it reflects a projectile, or just fade away after a few seconds.
-Kree Rocket: Captain Marvel flies forward, fists extended, to slam into the opponent and push them, potentially, to the other side of the stage. Will bounce off if blocked, leaving her vulnerable to counterattack.
*Kree Missile: A variant of Kree Rocket where she detonates energy on impact with the opponent rather than push them. Useful against blocking foes, but does some damage to Captain Marvel in the process.
-Cosmic Ray: Captain Marvel clasps her hands together and creates a short-range wave of energy that causes repeated damage on impact.
Throws
FORWARD: Captain Marvel picks the opponent up, then punches them in the gut and follows up with a point-blank blast of energy that shoots them back.
BACKWARD: Captain Marvel judo-throws the opponent to the ground, then blasts them at point-blank while they're down.
Super Moves:
-Shooting Star Blast: Captain Marvel charges energy into her hands, then fires a colossal beam that spans the whole stage and damages the opponent repeatedly, pushing them to the other side of the stage in the process.
-Marvel Comet: Captain Marvel shoots in a player-controlled, forward-going direction, spinning like a drill and coating her whole body with cosmic energy. This causes repeated damage, but can only go forward, upward or a combination of the two.
-Binary Form: Captain Marvel crosses his arms, then throws them out as she glows with fiery energy, hair flaring outward and eyes glowing red. In this state, her special attacks become significantly stronger, inflict fire-based damage and increase their effective range. She requires a full Super Meter for this to come into effect and, after it fades away, she will require a lengthy recovery time.
*Supernova: Accessible only in Binary Form, Captain Marvel throws out her arms and is engulfed in a sun-like fireball that causes immense damage, even when the opponent blocks.
FATALITIES:
-Burning Glory: Captain Marvel lights herself up with energy, then fires a beam right at the opponent, who staggers back as it blasts right through them. Just before they fall over, their heart drops into the hole left by the beam and, soon after, they collapse, their heart beating feebly before going absolutely still.
-Energy Overdose: Captain Marvel plunges a hand into the opponent's chest, the spot glowing bright-yellow. The opponent can only scream before a sphere of golden energy surges forth from within their body, making them explode in a shower of charred, bloody chunks and a few twitching appendages.
Intro: Captain Marvel hits the ground in the iconic superhero landing fashion, then stands up, levitates off the ground, and flares with a golden energy.
Outro: Captain Marvel puts her hands on her hips, nods in a proud fashion, then rockets off into the sky, leaving a trail of golden fire.

Stage: Kree Mothership
Theme Song: Captain Marvel Theme from "Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite"
_________________________________________________________________________________________
Prologue: In the vast reaches of space, Carol Danvers saw a portal unlike anything her universe had ever seen. Ever the daredevil and one never to back away from a threat, Captain Marvel donned her iconic outfit and rocketed into the depths of one not far from a Kree settlement. Despite the warnings from her teammates and other allies, Carol didn't even slow down and disappeared into the wormhole's depths, emerging into the world of Death Battle.
Rival Cutscene:
(Captain Marvel streaks through the sky of a seemingly-barren world, planets visible in the sky then stops to hover in place and observe the landscape.)
Captain Marvel: So, this place has multiple "outer spaces"...I've officially seen it all now. How can so many "spaces" exist in a single world? Or is this place just messing with my mind?
(Captain Marvel rolls her arm as she looks to the distance. The tower in the distance is still there in spite of the altered landscape/space.)
Captain Marvel: That place is still there, though. Gotta be some answers there at least.
(Suddenly, a blur races right by Captain Marvel and hits her with enough force to send her tumbling backward. She hits a plateau's side with a "crash", then darts away as something comes back and misses her by a hair. The resulting dust-cloud clears to reveal Android 18.)
Captain Marvel: You again!
Android 18: It was only a matter of time, "Captain". Miss me?
Captain Marvel: Can't say I did.
Android 18: Tell me, have you gotten strong enough to actually beat me this time?
Captain Marvel: Why don't you come see for yourself?
Android 18: Hmph. Challenge accepted.
(Android 18 flies forward at high speed, throwing a haymaker that Marvel ducks under. She throws a follow-up kick that the heroine catches, then spins her around and tosses back into the plateau with a "crash". Android 18 flies back out and both throw a series of blinding-fast punches and kicks that all collide with each other. Both fly back, tense for combat.)
Android 18: Running out of steam already? I'm afraid I have power to spare.
Captain Marvel: You're joking, right? (lights hands up with cosmic energy) I'm just getting warmed up!
Android 18: That's nice. (gathers ki in her palm) How long can you keep going?
(Captain Marvel's whole body lights up with energy and she takes off like a rocket. Android 18 does the same, both seeming ready to collide.)
(Fade to black.)
Ending: Upon her successful campaign through the world of Death Battle, the gates were opened to other universes and other races as a result. Wanting to explore these new areas of the cosmos, Captain Marvel signed on as a new Guardian of the Multiverse and made just as many allies as she did enemies. Knowing full well that the multiverse was huge, she knew she needed assistance and forged a new alliance to keep things more widespread. A cryomancer named Glacius offered his assistance, knowing of planets that needed benevolent intervention...
