Bio: Hailing from the Shokan race of Outworld, Goro is its sovereign prince, champion warrior, and loyal servant to the the Emperor's throne. The half-dragon has competed in Mortal Kombat tournaments for over 500 years and has a track record of over nine consecutive victories, losing only to the Shaolin Monk, Liu Kang. His reputation is so monstrous and fearsome that the most seasoned warriors hesitate to face him out of fear for losing, knowing full-well that a horrific death awaits them if they do.

Special Attacks:

-Shokan Bolt: Goro opens his mouth and spits a fireball at the opponent.

*Shokan Fireball: At the cost of some Super Meter, Goro will shoot four bolts in rapid succession--one from each of his palms.

-Stomp: Goro jumps so high that he goes off-camera, then comes back down on a different part of the stage, crushing anyone beneath his feet and producing a short-range shockwave on impact.

-Shokan Tornado: Goro spins with his arms outstretched and his fists laced in fire, striking close-range opponents.

-Shokan Grab: Goro grabs the opponents with his lower arms, then punches them six times with his upper pair before discarding them to the ground.

-Quake: Goro slams his fists on the ground to create a short-range tremor that can launch enemies into the air.

-Fist Flurry: Goro advances forward, swinging all four of his fists and finishing with a haymaker that grounds the opponent.

Throws

FORWARD: Goro bear-hugs the opponent with audible back-breaking effects, then smashes them to the ground, headfirst.

BACKWARD: Goro slams the opponent into the ground behind him, then jumps up and stomps on their back while they're down.

Super Moves:

-Shokan Clobber: Goro roars, then unleashes a machine-gun flurry of punches that will pummel close-range opponents, finishing with a haymaker that can knock the opponent to the other side of the stage.

-Dragon's Fangs: Goro slips a gauntlet on each arm, each armed with a razor-sharp blade. For the next few seconds, Goro's punch-based attacks will have a longer reach and hit slightly harder. After a few seconds pass, Goro will detach and throw the blades at the opponent in succession.

-Shokan Fury: Goro grabs onto the opponent's arms, then repeatedly punches them in the face before tossing them in the air. He then grabs them by the ankles and smashes them into the ground several times, each hit kicking up small rocks and forming a small crater. Finishing the combo, he breathes fire on them while they're down, the flames subsiding to reveal they're flat-out on the grond.

FATALITIES:

-Shokan Amputation: Goro jumps in the air and stomps on the opponent, planting them face-first to the ground. He then reaches down and grabs them by their arms and legs before pulling up with sickening sounds. With one good pull, he rips the opponent's arms and legs off, holding one in each hand. When he notices the opponent writhing in pain below him, he raises a foot and smashes their face to the ground, killing them instantly.

-Headcrusher: Goro heaves the opponent off the ground, clasping their forearms in his lower arms and using his upper pair to grip the sides of their head. With an almighty heave, Goro pulls their head free from their body. He then releases the body and grips the head in his hand, tightening his grip until the head breaks into a pieces of bone, blood and brain.

Intro: Goro stomps his way onto the stage, then casts off his cape and cracks his knuckles.

Outro: Goro glowers down at the supposedly-fallen adversary, then beats his chest with his fists before lifting his arms in the air in victory.

Prologue: A proud warrior of Outworld, Goro was among the first of its inhabitants to learn of the otherworldly portals that were appearing throughout the realm. When the Shokan Prince happened upon one, he felt something calling to him like a goading voice. It promised him the opportunity to partake in a fight unlike any other--between realms even Outworld was unaware of and against warriors the likes of which he had never seen before. Not one to turn down a chance to regain his Shokan glory, Goro embraced his destiny and ventured forth.

Rival Cutscene:

(In an ancient coliseum, Goro waits behind an iron gate, seated in a somewhat-meditative pose. When he arrived in this place, this was where he materialized and with no way out. All he could do now was wait, albeit with waning patience.)

Goro: Why must my opponent make me wait? I yearn for a real fight! Has the owner of this world no respect for a warrior's spirit?!

(Suddenly, there comes a great "clang" and the gateway slowly begins to lift with a resounding, clinking-clanking of a medieval mechanism being activated. Seeing the light, Goro stands, then strides into the ring as soon as the gate allows. He is met with a glorious arena for battle, but is disheartened when there appears to be no audience.)

Goro: Let my opponent come forth! He shall pay a heavy price for challenging the might of the Shokan!

(There's no answer, but a gate opposite of him slowly lifts, the grinding sound of ancient gears and chains ringing across the empty coliseum. It's not even halfway open when something charges into it, smashing the iron-grate doorway clean off and reducing the surrounding stone arch into pebbles. As the grate tumbles across the floor, Goro recognizes the four-armed warrior looking for an audience and looking VERY disheartened at the sight.)

Goro: YOU AGAIN?!

(The creature, Machamp, turns in surprise. It's short-lived, though, for he gains a confident smile and a glint in its eye. It feels that the match is already over.)

Goro: I will make you pay for humiliating me, creature! I will rip out ALL of your limbs this time and let you revel in your pain-

*WHAM!*

(Before Goro can finish his sentence proper, Machamp crossed the distance and popped him full in the face with enough force to send him careening backward and into the stone wall. He hits it, back-first, and cracks the wall, all while Machamp flexes his muscles proudly.)

Machamp: Ma-Champ! ("Too easy!")

(Goro removes himself from the wall, teeth grit in fury. He brushes dust off himself, then casts off his cape.)

Goro: You have sealed your fate. I WILL REND YOU TO PIECES!!!

(When Machamp only beckons with one hand, Goro charges like a bull. Machamp mimics him with equal confidence. The two wind back and, just as they close the distance, throw a haymaker at each other, the resulting collision ringing through the coliseum like a starting pistol. Fade to black.)

Ending: Upon dismembering the mastermind of Death Battle, Goro returned to Outworld coated in the blood of his enemies. When Shao Kahn greeted him upon his return, Goro suddenly turned on his former master and slaughtered him. Painting runic symbols on his body with Shao Kahn's own blood, power surged through his body as though searing his very flesh. Gone was Goro, and Drathon was born in his place. Now the new emperor of Outworld, the prophesied ruler of Outworld sought to lead the Shokan race into a glorious, golden future...
