Title: America's Best Street Fighter
Bio: The son of a wealthy hotel tycoon, Ken Masters grew up with the most luxurious home imaginable. His father sent him to Japan to learn martial arts, not wanting Ken to grow up into a spoiled brat who would exist only to leech off the family inheritance. Under the tutelage of Master Gouken, Ken would learn the Ansatsuken style of fighting alongside his friend and rival, Ryu. He would become one of America's most prized fighters, fall in love with and marry a woman named Eliza, and even had a son, all while making it his business to find a happy medium between champion, husband, and father.

Special Attacks:
-Hadoken: Ken puts both his palms forward and shoots a ball of blue ki at the opponent.
*Hadoken EX: Sets the projectile on fire, making it stronger and longer-range as well as igniting the foe. Costs Super Meter.
-Shoryuken: Ken jumps with his fist raised upward. Can catch airborne opponents and send grounded ones into the air.
*Twin Shoryuken: With good timing, Ken can follow up with a second Shoryuken as soon as he touches down, to send falling opponents back into the air.
*Shoryuken EX: Sets Ken's fist on fire and lets him jump higher, setting the opponent on fire. Costs Super Meter.
-Tatsumaki Senpukyaku: Ken advances on the opponent in midair, spinning with his foot outstretched to kick the opponent multiple times. Heavy variant sends him up and over in an arch pattern.
*Tatsumaki Senpukyaku EX: Ken's foot catches fire upon use so that his kick ignites the foe, he covers greater distance, and he lands more hits than a standard move. Costs Super Meter.
-Airborne Tatsumaki Senpukyaku: In midair, Ken spirals downward at the opponent, foot outstretched.
*Hoirokikku: Performed during a back-jump, Ken suddenly spins downward at a sloping angle.
*Daibukikku: Performed during a forward-jump, Ken turns into a wheeling kick that goes straight down.
*Airborne Tatsumaki EX: Ken performs a fiery spin-kick while going up slightly, then angles down. Useful for airborne counters. Costs Super Meter.
Throws
FORWARD: Ken grabs the opponent by the arm and judo-throws them over his back.
BACKWARD: Ken grabs the opponent's shoulders, then falls onto back and uses his feet to hurl them backward.
Super Moves:
-Shinryuken: Ken balls up a fist and springs into a jump uppercut, lacing his fist and body in spirals of flame. This move carries both him and the opponent into the air, hits multiple times, and carries Ken higher into the air than a standard Shoryuken.
-Guren Senpukyaku: Ken performs a hi-speed variant of Tatsumaki Senpukyaku that turns him into a flaming tornado that carries him across the whole stage and does repeated fire damage to the opponent if it goes unblocked. Finishes with a single, powerful fiery kick for good measure.
-Guren Enjinkyaku: Ken gathers fiery ki in the soles of his feet, then springs up to spin-kick the opponent back. He then kicks them into the air and chases after them, performing a fiery series of spin-kicks on them before planting the sole of his foot into their face and blasting them with a burst of flame.
FATALITIES:
-Hot Foot: Ken growls as he charges ki into his foot, then runs up to the opponent and slams his foot into their face. Everything goes slow-motion as he expels the flames outward and burns the opponent's face to a charred husk, leaving them to fall over, dead.
-Tornado Flare: Ken rushes the opponent, then at point-blank range performs a Tatsumaki-like move that transforms him into a miniature whirlwind of fire. The hot funnel engulfs the opponent who is swept up into it, then spat out at the top as a pitch-black, charred corpse.
Intro: Ken steps into the ring, slams a fist into his palm, then smirks and takes a fighting pose.
Outro: Ken takes a few practice swipes, then jumps in the air and performs a whirling kick with his foot on fire.

_________________________________________________________________________________________
Prologue: Ken Masters saw what was all over the news--portals appearing in certain parts of the world. On learning that one was close to his general area, Ken bid farewell to his wife and son, promising them that nothing bad would happen to him, then left to investigate. Upon his arrival, he felt familiar presences inside of the portal, like something was calling him--the presence of a great challenge.
Rival Cutscene:
(Ken slides open the door of a traditional Japanese house, then walks in to see that it's a dojo of sorts. A smile spreads across his face at the thought.)
Ken: Ah, this brings back memories...
(The scene flashes back to him and Ryu sparring as kids, their master Gouken watching from the sidelines. In the real world, Ken's eyes are closed as he reminisces)
Ken: Amazing how things have changed since then, isn't it?
???: This place special to you?
(Ken's eyes snap open as he turns to meet Terry Bogard at the entrance, leaning on the doorpost. Strangely enough, he isn't startled or mad, but almost overjoyed.)
Ken: Terry! Still a wanderer, I take it?
(The two meet up, then share a firm handshake.)
Terry: Yup. And...no offense from our last fight, right?
Ken: (releases hand, then waves it off) Nah. What happened was beyond our control. We weren't ourselves then.
Terry: Good to know. Now our rematch won't be a petty grudge-match.
Ken: Yeah. That IS good to know.
Terry: You know...pardon me for asking, but why do you fight?
Ken: I could say it's "to get stronger", but I've gotten a new reason recently. I have people waiting for me--a friend, a wife, and a kid. I'll only see them again if I win. They gotta see that the father of the pride is a champ to them.
Terry: Good motivation for both of us, then. I have a sweetheart, adopted kid, and a brother waiting for me. Now...(puts up fists) show me your drive to win. Give it your all.
Ken: Don't worry. (puts up his own fists) I will if you do.
(Fade to black.)
Ending: A few years after winning the Death Battle event, Ken sat at the family couch, his son Mel sitting on his lap as they went through a family album. Ken reached a page that made his kid's eyes go wide with glee--a photo of Ken Masters shaking hands with none other than the Star-Spangled Man himself, Captain America. What followed was a proud father telling his son how he fought the nation's great hero, telling him he had a fan back home, and saying that it was an honor to meet and fight the Captain as a fellow warrior and as an equal.
