Name: Thor Odinson the Mighty
Age: Immortal
Race: Asgardian
Title: God of Thunder
Bio: In Norse Mythology, Thor is the god of thunder, strength, healing, and...oak trees? In the Marvel Universe, however, Thor was conceived between Odin, the All-Father of Asgard, and Earth's Elder Goddess, Gaea, with the intention of creating the strongest man in the universe as well as bringing an end to the Ragnarok Cycle. To further ingrain this status, he was granted his iconic Uru hammer, Mjolnir, a tool that can either create or destroy and a test of his rite to the throne of Asgard. In order to teach him appreciation of humanity, Odin stripped his son of his godhood and banished him to Earth. When Thor learned humility and grew to love Earth and its people, he was welcomed back among the ranks of Asgard, becoming it and Earth's mightiest warrior.

-Mighty Throw: Thor throws his hammer at the opponent with varying effects.
LIGHT: Flies in a straight line and comes straight back to Thor afterward
MEDI: Spins through the air to strike the opponent multiple times
HEAVY: Flies up off-screen, then comes down on top of the opponent to pin them for a short time.
-Mighty Smash: Thor jumps in an arc and brings his hammer down on the ground, damaging the enemy on impact and creating a small shockwave of lightning.
-Mighty Tornado: Command Grab. Thor grabs his opponent, bring both of them spinning into the air, then slam them to the ground with Mjolnir.
-Mighty Strike: Thor will briefly charge energy, then swing Mjolnir in a horizontal swipe. If it connects, the opponent will fly to the other side of the arena.
Throws
FORWARD: Thor gut-punches the enemy, then uppercuts them with Mjolnir just enough to send them in a slight arc.
BACKWARD: Thor hefts the enemy up in the air, then throws them violently over his shoulder.
Super Moves:
-God of Thunder: Thor raises Mjolnir into the air, gathering lightning in it, then smashes it into the ground, causing several pillars of lightning to burst from the ground and span the entire stage.
-God Rage: Thor closes his eyes, then snaps them open to reveal they are alight with bright-blue lightning. In this state, he gains a significant strength boost, his physical attacks are laced with electricity, and his electrical attacks get an increase in range. After a few seconds, the move fades and he must take a few seconds to regain his senses.
-Wrath of Asgard: Thor spins his hammer above his head, creating a colossal tornado. If it touches successfully, the opponent gets sucked up by the raging winds while Thor flies past them to the highest point of the tornado and smashes them down to the ground with Mjolnir. He then charges lightning into his hammer and, with a mighty shout, fires down a massive pillar of lightning that engulfs them, dissipates the tornado, then fades to reveal a floored opponent.
FATALITIES:
-Mjolnir's Might: Thor grabs the opponent around the neck, then tosses them into the air. Spinning Mjolnir to gain momentum, he starts to charge the hammer until it is aglow with lightning. As the opponent falls down, Thor winds up and swings with his hammer to make contact with the opponent's midsection, resulting in the opponent getting smashed into several, bloody chunks.
-Odin Smite: Thor raises his hammer into the air, lightning emitting from its metal head and firing off into the sky like a beacon. The opponent regains their senses in time for a colossal bolt of lightning to come down right on their head. The magnitude of the bolt's power is so great that the opponent explodes on contact with it, pieces of their body scattering across the arena.
Intro: Thor lands on the ground, creating a small crater, then stands and readies his hammer.
Outro: Thor nods, then spins his hammer to gain momentum before launching himself into the sky.

Theme Song: Thor's Theme from "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite"
_________________________________________________________________________________________
Prologue: The warriors of Asgard had been called forth by Odin himself, the All-Father receiving word from Heimdall of the many portals scattered across the nine realms. In some ways, they were not unlike the rainbow bridge, Bifrost, in that they were likely gates to other worlds, but something was amiss. Many of Midgard's greatest champions had ventured forth into the gateways' depths, but none had returned, and Odin sensed a great evil in the depths of these gates. Ever ready for a challenge and wanting to protect Midgar from potential evil, Thor Odinson, the Prince of Asgard, took Mjolnir in hand and ventured through these unknown gates. Whatever was on the other side would face the wrath of the God of Thunder.
Rival Cutscene:
(Thunder rumbles across the sky and lightning spears across its dark spread, until one bolt touches down on a patch of ground, revealing Thor, hammer held high. He lowers his hammer to observe the surroundings.)
Thor: This realm...it has brought forth beings that I never could have dreamed of. But, entertaining as they may be, I feel unsatisfied with how little a challenge they are. (shouts) Is there no one who can challenge Thor, Son of Odin, God of Thunder?!
????: So...you made it here as well?
Thor: (whirls around, sees no one) Who speaks to me? Show thyself!
(Lightning strikes the ground, yet doesn't vanish, rather it builds into the form of a familiar man with a circular straw hat.)
Lord Raiden: I still do not understand why one like you became God of Thunder.
Thor: (slight smile) Lord Raiden of Earthrealm. Have you learned nothing from when we battled last?
Lord Raiden: I have...and it is that your status of godhood is undeserving of you, Odinson.
Thor: Did I hear correctly? My ears must be deceiving me, for I could have sworn you called me "unworthy". Last I recalled, a God of Thunder should not have been so easily slain.
Lord Raiden: (getting frustrated) Might is not everything, Thor! What good is power unstructured by wisdom?
Thor: And what good is wisdom without power to enforce it?
Lord Raiden: My wisdom has stopped the rule of conquering empires.
Thor: Along with causing the death of your own allies, some of which were done by your own hand.
Lord Raiden: Please tell me you are not this naive, Thor. (lightning gathers in his hands) Victory always comes with sacrifice, especially in war! You should know this yourself!
Thor: If you were so willing to sacrifice your own allies (readies Mjolnir), were they ever your "friends" to begin with?
Lord Raiden: I see that the time for battling with words has long passed. (takes combat stance) I will put you in your place, Asgardian.
Thor: (takes own combat stance) You shall try, 'Protector' of Earthrealm.
(As the two stand at the ready, lightning decorates the sky above them, heralding a clash of Thunder Gods. Fade to black.)
Ending: The one behind these gateways to other worlds was nothing in comparison to the mightiest of Asgard's warriors, crumbling like sand beneath the might of Mjolnir and the god who wielded it. He returned to Midgard a hero and to Asgard a truly-worthy successor to Odin. Thor declined the offer for the throne, for he could not protect Midgard while seated upon the throne. Instead, he consulted Heimdall, the ever-watchful guard of Bifrost to watch over the other worlds previously linked to the gateways. Heimdall said he would, but questioned Thor's motivations. Thor's mind flashed to a mighty Amazon warrior, a Man of Steel, two members of a "Saiyan" race, and even a fellow God of Thunder that he previously vanquished. His response to Heimdall was, "Because I have met powerful allies and friends along the way."
