Name: Amuro Ray / Gundam RX-78-2
Age: 29
Race: Human/Mobile Suit
Title: The White Devil
Bio: At the height of a great war between denizens of Earth and those who took to the stars, a new series of weapons were created--the Mobile Suits. The brilliant scientist, Tem Ray, led a project to design three Mobile Suits to stand out from the rest. However, the project was sabotaged when their base of operations was bombarded. Left undiscovered for years, the three Mobile Suits were later discovered by Amuro Ray, Tem's son. Taking the cockpit of the second model, Gundam RX-78-2, Amuro would partake in countless battles for the next fourteen years, becoming an ace pilot and a war hero in his own right.

Voice Actor: David Matranga
Special Attacks:
-Vulcan Cannon: Gundam retreats up and backward, firing a barrage of short-range bullets from its head. While lacking in firepower, it makes for a good evasive attack.
-Hyper Bazooka: Gundam pulls a bazooka and fires a rocket that will explode on contact with the opponent
-Shield Bash: Gundam rushes forward a short distance with its shield held forward. With proper timing, this can help him power through attacks and neutralize projectiles on contact.
-Fierce Melee: Gundam pulls one of three weapons, depending on the attack variant.
LIGHT: Creates a spear that he will thrust, repeatedly, at the opponent to push them away.
MEDI: Uses its beam swords to swing down, then upward, and ending with an X-shaped slash.
HEAVY: Spins a giant flail, then hurls it at the opponent with enough force to wallbounce them.
-Beam Rifle: Gundam pulls a rifle and fires a beam of energy across the stage, the beam exploding on contact with the opponent. This weapon only has sixteen rounds per match, so the player must use these shots wisely.
Throws
FORWARD: Gundam lifts the opponent in the air by the neck, punches them in the midsection, then drop-kicks them.
BACKWARD: Gundam grabs the opponent by the head, impales them through the chest with a beam sword, then swings them away to send them flying.
Super Moves:
-Newtype Insight: Amuro closes his eyes, then opens them with a flash of light. If the opponent attacks him in a split-second, Gundam will evade, then use a Beam Saber to cut them down before taking off and firing a laser from its Beam Rifle. Does NOT cost Beam Rifle ammunition.
-Satellite Destroyer: Gundam reaches forward suddenly and, if it makes successful contact, will grab the opponent and fly all the way into space toward a conveniently-placed satellite. After they've slammed into its metal surface, Gundam will circle around and point its beam rifle at the satellite, firing at it and causing it to create a massive explosion. The blast will shoot the opponent back down to the ground and Gundam will make a safe landing on the opposite end of the ring. Does not use Beam Rifle ammunition.
FATALITIES:
-Twin Spit: Gundam pulls both beam sabers from its back and rams them into the opponent's midsection. he pulls them straight up through their midsection until their arms fall to the side, then swings down to cleave them right down the center. Their pieces fall to the ground just as Gundam deactivates its sabers and returns them to their socket.
-Gunned 'Em: Gundam grabs the opponent by the head, then hurls them high into the air, firing on them with its Vulcan Cannons to shred their insides. It then takes out a Hyper Bazooka, takes aim, and fires as they start to fall down. An explosion lights up the sky as Gundam lowers its bazooka. To signify the opponent's fate, their severed, charred head hits the ground at Gundam's foot.
Intro: Gundam soars in, then rises up and makes a landing before fading to focus on Amuro in the cockpit.
Outro: Amuro grins before fading to Gundam, who fires a shot from its rifle into the sky.

Prologue: The Earth Federation had plenty to worry about already, with the Principality of Zeon proving a persistent and hardy force, even with the White Devil himself aiding them in keeping their forces back. Their hardships only increased, however, when a series of portals began to dot not only Earth, but key points in the warzones with active Zeon soldiers. On one such battlefield, Amuro Ray flew the legendary RX-78-2 Gundam into one by complete accident, for not even his NewType senses could sense it coming. In the alien world of Death Battle, his Gundam was going to be his best chance of survival.
Rival Cutscene:
(Gundam is flying through the skies over a vast, featureless desert. The only things that stood out were the tower in the distance and the highway road down below. Inside the Gundam's cockpit, Amuro fiddles with the communications.)
Amuro: Hello? Is anyone there? This is Amuro Ray. Does anyone copy? (gets only static, sighing in frustration) Still nothing. Looks like I really am alone out here...
(As he flies, Amuro's NewType senses detect something down below. Using the Gundam's visual sensors, he picks up a robotic being down below--one he remembers, but in a way he can't really explain. He decides not to question it and, instead, reactivates his communications link and speaks the name from memory.)
Amuro: (static, then voice comes through) Optimus!
(The figure down below turns in surprise, but answers his call nonetheless.)
Optimus: Optimus here. Come in.
Amuro: No need. I'm coming right at you! Ninety degrees west!
(The Gundam comes in for a smooth landing, standing before the familiar red-and-blue of the Autobot leader--Optimus Prime of Cybertron.)
Amuro: Long time no see, Prime.
Optimus: Yes, young Amuro.
Amuro: I hope you can forgive our...unfortunate first encounter.
Optimus: Forgiveness granted, soldier. I trust that you have seen what this dimension has done?
Amuro: You'd have to be blind NOT to see it. I've seen some of the beings it's brought in and they're more dangerous than I could have ever imagined.
Optimus: Precisely. We are left with only one option--we must destroy this realm at its source.
Amuro: I agree. Where is it?
Optimus: If my theories are correct, there's only one possible source. The tower.
Amuro: But I've tried going to it. I only flew in circles. And any shots I fired at it disappeared and nothing happens.
Optimus: You're not unintelligent, Amuro. You know as well as I do that there is only one way for either of us to move forward.
Amuro: But I...but we could to it together-
Optimus: I'm afraid that isn't an option. There is only one way for us to stop this--One must stand. One must fall.
Amuro: ...I see.
Optimus: We shall not duel to the death like last time, but I encourage you to do one thing. (summons a fusion axe) Don't hold anything back!
Amuro: Don't worry. (pulls out and ignites a beam saber) I won't. Let's go!
(Fade to black.)
Ending: The Gundam proved its mettle once again as it toppled the Mastermind of Death Battle and Amuro re-emerged from the portal, ready to resume the battle against Zeon's forces...only he had brought a few wingmates to the fray. Famed pilots from across the multiverse had his back--Arwings, X-Wings, Righteous Indignation, and even Autobots were more than willing to help the victor end his own war. The armies of Zeon stood no chance against a team of ace pilots and spacebound warriors like this. The end of the entire war, and victory for the Earth Federation was near...
