Bio: Kratos was a demigod raised among Spartans and grew to be a fierce warrior in his own right, until his people were threatened to be destroyed by barbarians from the east. Striking a deal with the God of War, Ares, Kratos would gain the power to protect his family and people in return for service to Ares. Tragedy would strike when Ares tricked Kratos into killing his wife and daughter, the Spartan cursed with their ashes clinging permanently to his skin. Soon after, Kratos went on a quest of vengeance that resulted in him killing Ares and usurping his position as God of War. But even with his newfound title, Zeus and the Olympians would betray Kratos, leading the Ghost of Sparta to a violent quest for vengeance that would bring forth untold chaos and the end of countless lives.

Special Moves

-Weapon Swap: Kratos can switch between three different weapons in combat, either manually or by using a certain move. Each weapon will have a different ability in combat:

*Blades of Exile: Kratos will use a pair of chained short swords that will extend every time he swings them. The Blades will inflict fire damage with every strike, can be chained for various combos, and have the greatest combo-potential of the three.

*Nemean Cestus: Kratos will use a pair of metal lion-shaped gauntlets in combat. The Cesti are slow and have the shortest range of the three but have the greatest power, with each strike capable of smashing through defenses and leaving tremendous damage.

*Claws of Hades: Kratos will use a pair of chained, scythe-like claws in combat. The Claws are the weakest in strength, but longest in range, which is useful for keeping the opponent at a distance while chipping away at their health.

-Deadly Latch: Using whatever weapon he has available, Kratos will lash out with a long chain and, should he latch onto them, he will use a different attack depending on what he has equipped.

*Blades of Exile: Pulls them to Kratos' grip, letting him stab them a few times before wrenching them to the ground

*Nemean Cestus: Pulls the opponent into a powerful haymaker capable of wallbouncing them.

*Claws of Hades: Rips out part of their soul, draining a small fraction of their health and adding it to Kratos' own.

-Tartarus Rage: Equips the Blades of Exile. Kratos lashes out repeatedly before slamming the blades down to create a fiery shockwave.

-Nemean Roar: Equips the Nemean Cestus. Kratos slams the Cestus on the ground, creating a short-range shockwave that damages and stuns opponents.

-Tormenting Lash: Equips the Claws of Hades. The claws quickly spiral around Kratos, damaging any enemy that is too close.

-Golden Fleece: Kratos puts his right shoulder forwards and is able to reflect projectiles back at the opponent. Physical attacks will do less damage on being blocked, and allow Kratos to perform a shoulder-tackle in retaliation.

Throws:

FORWARD: Kratos grabs the opponent by the head, smashes it to the ground a few times, then kicks them away while they're down.

BACKWARD: Kratos hooks the Blades of Exile into his opponent, then turns around and uses their lengthy chains to sling them away.

Super Moves

-Army of Sparta: Kratos is suddenly surrounded by a ghostly army of Spartan warriors aligning around him in a circular phalanx. The Spartans will strike out with their spears and send a volley of arrows from the sky, damaging everyone around them.

-Medusa's Gaze: Kratos pulls out the severed head of Medusa and, if the opponent is not guarding, they will be petrified--unable to move or defend themselves until they button-mash free.

-Rage of Sparta: Kratos roars in absolute rage and begins to glow red with energy. In this form, Kratos will be equipped only with the Blade of Olympus, which will send a blast of energy with each swing and leaves monumental amounts of damage. It can also be stabbed into the ground to unleash a shock wave of powerful energy around the area. This form only lasts for a brief time.

FATALITIES:

-Nemean End: Kratos equips the Nemean Cestus, then knocks the opponent on their back and towers over them. He then proceeds to punch them in the face, repeatedly. With each punch, the opponent's face starts caving in, becoming more mutilated and bloodied (with one eyeball even popping out). With one final punch, the topmost half of the opponent's skull caves, reduced to a cavity filled with blood, splattered brain, and smashed bone.

-Sun God's End: Kratos slices off the opponent's legs, then grabs them by the head. They struggle against Kratos' grip, which he doesn't like, for he swiftly slams their face into the ground. After planting a foot in their back, ensuring they won't get up, Kratos seizes the opponent by the head and pulls with all his might. The opponent only has time to scream as their head is pulled from their neck. Kratos then holds up the freshly-severed head, which appears to be silently screaming in his grip.

Intro: Kratos jumps down from the sky and growls, pulling out the Blades of Exile and taking a fighting stance.

Outro: Kratos picks his enemy up by the head to show off his trophy, then throws them to the ground before raising one of his blades, as if to finish them off.

Prologue: Kratos, the Ghost of Sparta, had left his world in absolute chaos after he had annihilated the ranks of Olympus and had taken his own life so that he may no longer be a tool for Athena to use. He thought he would finally find release from his eternal torment, yet fate had a cruel sense of humor. Kratos found himself alive and in a world he did not recognize. Sensing a higher power responsible for his revival, he set out with a newly-revived arsenal of weapons to find this fool and make him pay.

Rival Cutscene:

(Kratos strides down a path, a column of smoke rising up from a nearby town. As he walks down the path, a shadow looms behind him. He halts, eyes shifting to the side, then turns and lashes out with the Blades of Exile.)

Kratos: SHOW YOURSELF!

(The Blades of Exile hit air at first, but a folow-up swing lands a solid hit with a "clang". A third swipe and the chain becomes taut as something grabs it. It's none other than Spawn.)

Kratos: YOU!

Spawn: Yes. (tosses blade away) ME. Nice to know that your senses are as sharp as ever, Spartan.

Kratos: Do not ridicule me, hellspawn, unless you wish to join the others who have fallen before me.

Spawn: Your desire for destruction never ends, does it, Spartan? And if memory serves, I was the one who killed you when we last met.

Kratos: A mistake I shall NOT repeat.

Spawn: (sarcastically) Of course not. (dead-serious) And what if your little quest of destruction gives you nothing, Kratos? What if you kill this thing and get nothing from it?

Kratos: I have no patience for you, hellspawn. Step aside. (takes out Blades of Exile)

Spawn: Of course you would say that. (hands flare with green magic) Seems the only way to stop you would be to kick your sorry ass once again.

Kratos: The Hands of Death could not defeat me, the Sisters of Fate could not hold me, and YOU will not see the end of this day! I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!

Spawn: Then what are we waiting for?

(Spawn's cape flares out around him just as Kratos roars and charges. Fade to black.)

Ending: Kratos' travels would ultimately yield success. He had found the one responsible for restoring him to life when he desired eternal slumber. The foolish entity cowered before the Ghost of Sparta's nigh-unstoppable rage, begging to be spared and promising to give Kratos what he so desired. Kratos' response was to run it through with the Blade of Olympus, the Bane of the Gods bringing the being's life to an end. "Thank you." was Kratos' only response. Afterward, Kratos would disappear...only to reappear in a land far to the north, now trying to live a humble life with his son, Atreus.
